    Default Boostability?

I submitted my site to Boostability and got a phone call the very next day asking me if i wanted to make a purchase for linking my site for $19.95 a month. I was told to never pay for SEO . True or false?

Well first of all, did they tell you where this link would be?

What you have to decide is whether the link they are offering you fits the theme well and whether it is worth close to $240 a year for it.

I know that some will pay that and more for a link, and some would rather just keep aggressively looking for links for free....

I sorta doubt what they are selling you is worth that but it is possible.

I remember him saying that my site would be submitted to links to drive traffic to me. He did not say where these links would be placed.
He kinda danced around only wanting to get me to buy this.
I think I will just actively look for free links. I really doubted this guy anyway.
    Thanks for the reply universal4

No way would I want to have zero control over where the links go. You could end up with a bundle of links from anywhere (e.g. the proverbial 'bad neighbourhoods')

Default Boostability, a link building tool.

I work for www.Boostability.com where you submitted your Free Website Analysis. The salesman that you talked to didn't quite convey what our product is.

Our product is a link building tool. We search thousands of sites looking for relevant content that you can submit a link to. We save users hours of work looking for these sites.

Again, I am sorry for the confusion.

Don't get easily fancy by those kind of proposal for people whom you really don't know unless you further know the site itself or they are trusted enough for those kind of promotions. Try to review the site first specially how well their services going before attempting to try the said offer. $19.95 is a big money for that kind of thing though.

If you have salesman calling they should be able to tell prospective buyers exactly what the product is and where the links are going to. You say you search for thousands of sites looking for relevant content that I can submit my link to, If I am paying you $19.95 a month shouldn't you be submitting the links to those sites? Thanks, but I think I will pass on this offer.

    Default Link building

I understand. Our product is a do-it-yourself SEO tool and not for everyone.

There are automatic link building services that just spam you out to thousands of directories or other little value websites. I would avoid these services like the plague. If you want to see their services try linkbuildingrobot [dot] com.

One way links to your site from quality sites is the key to good rankings on Google. But if you link on bad or spam sites you will not get any rankings on Google.

    Myth.

Agree is not a "whitehat" approach, but is incorrect.
