I got this: Promote or facilitate online gambling, games of skill or lotteries, including online casino, sports books, bingo or poker, unless the Page has obtained prior authorization from Facebook.

I post football news and only occasionally something sports bettingting related, but how all those tipster pages and affiliates are fine but not me!
if anyone had this, is it worth appealing or making a new page?

All 3 pages are now unpublished. Could not make any sense when it came to their appeal process so gave up

Unless you have some specific contacts at Facebook customer support I think it's not much chance you can get it published again.
On their guidelines page section 2/3 they have a pretty clear restriction stated against gambling https://www.facebook.com/policies/pages_groups_events/

Our CR page got unpublished too which is pretty annoying since there were no links out from it. It was news based only.

If you manage to find a way to get yours republished let me know. I've clicked appeal and written nothing. Considered just removing all the content from the page until someone reviews it. But there are years of posts. Le sigh.

It does seem like they are on a bit of a purge, just like Youtube and streamers

Same just happened to me, we'd recently started to pick up pace gaining 10/20 followers a week as well.

FB have always done this, I had a page unpublished 4-5 years ago and now another one is off too. It's just the purge pushed harder these days, seeing also some very big sites as Blogabet, Betshoot and Apuestasdeportivas taken down...

We wanted to try Facebook advertising, to do this we had to verify our page. We got a solicitor to write a letter confirming that we have agreements with certain bookmakers to advertise their brands. So far we have had no issues with advertising betting related content.

Had the same problem several weeks ago.
When I clicked Appeal button just to see what I have to do, I only chose my page, but didn`t write anything yet (was thinking of a better way to do it), then returned to the previous action in the browser, and it wrote me that I had appealed. But I even did`t click the button to send my appeal!
That`s crazy. And the most interesting my page was in Japanese, so i guess some not friendly people complained on me.
