Default Bovada Has Been Offline For A Long Time

Anyone got any news on the fact Bovada has been down for around a day now?
They blame it on a system upgrade - or is there more to this than that?
Regular players will be betting at other firms now and the longer they are offline the more permanent damage is being done to their and affiliates' player bases.

It went down on Dec 16th, 2021 in the morning.

There was scheduled maintenance posted beforehand.

Not just Bovada, but Ignition Casino, Cafe Casino, SlotsLV, and Joe Fortune were offline.

They tried to bring it up multiple times and failed. Some of the error messages changed over time.

People were freaking out about it on Reddit in /r/poker, /r/Bovada, /r/IgnitionCasino, etc.

SlotsLV was the first to come back online AFAIK, earlier this morning on the 18th. Ignition is back up now as well.

I am certain we will lose customers over this. Although, on the plus side, we got more signups on the 16th, and 17th than normal. Much more. I think we set a record on the 17th for new signups site-wide across all brands.

So yeah, Revenue Network brands will see some attrition as people were forced to try other sites in order to get their gambling fix for ~50-60ish hours and some of those people won't return.

I'm not sure if we will come out ahead in the long-run, having lost all the Bovada, Ignition, Cafe, Slots, JF revenues for those days versus the new signups on other brands... mainly because B/I/C/S/JF are going to be offering tons of bonuses to pissed off players and they will almost certainly charge that **** to the affiliates where they can, like they have been doing by giving away tens of thousands of dollars of free tournament tickets to their Monthly Milly Poker Tournament, and charging the full price of their promotions to affiliates via bonuses.

    But I digress....

Looks like things will be back to normal very shortly.

Bodog is up already & I see revenue for Bovada for today.

    According to Gambling Industry News:

Disgruntled players have been left without access for almost a full 24 hours. According to a later update, the issue was related to an upgrade that had failed to launch which would be rectified soon.

Affiliates are affected too, with the site unable to handle transactions or to serve data to partners.

On the plus side, we trebled our normal signup numbers during this downtime picking up disgruntled Bovada and Ignition customers so

Bovada used to work wonders for me a few years back. Now, the conversions and traffic are just dead.
