Brands shutdown !

Just received the message form affutd, the following brands are going to be closed in January:

Prestige, Joyland & Skykings.
Please remove all banners, Text links, logos etc...

Raw casino also going out of bussiness in 2 days (small white hat casino). Don't know if someone was promoting it, but just in case.

Just received mine, it says:

Dear Partner,

We would like to inform you that in the upcoming weeks William Hill will be decommissioning the following brands:

Ruby Bingo – January 31^st
Skykings – February 8^th
Prestige - February 8^th
Joyland - February 8^th

We kindly ask that you remove all marketing materials which you may be using to promote the aforementioned brands.

Should you have any questions, please contact your affiliate manager or contact us directly at blablabla@blablaych.com.

Ok. "Decommissioning"... what it means?
AffUTD keep players and commissions and us in the axs (as usual...)?
Players will be moved in another brand and we will continue earning those commissions?

I guess "decommissioning" is an internal term at AffUtd. Best translation is perhaps "screwing affiliates".

But i guess it's really not - since it just shows that Affiliates are treated like beggars ! - I'm really starting to understand that film ''winner winner'' now - that affiliates are just the necessary evil for bookmakers/gaming operators!!

Ahhh, Ruby Bingo, had a special and unexplained charm for me ... no notice received in my inbox mind you. Going on the above. Bye Bye Ruby. Sad stuff. I am getting tired of all the sites that shut down and leave affiliates that have faithfully promoted them floating in cyberspace. With Ruby Bingo had thousands of clicks and not one sign up! so I guess that says it all.

I feel the same as you TraceyL - I have been promoting Ruby Bingo since the day they began and despite literally thousands of clicks over the years - Never got 1 single depositor there. Makes me wonder why on earth I never removed them!!!
At least now I am forced to do something I should have done years ago!

Actually, I will miss Ruby as I think it was one of the best brands they had, and in fact I think it was a mistake when they tried to push players to the Will Hill version of it a few years ago.

Wasn't Raw Casino launched just last year? already going out of business?

I really hate this when you promote a brand and all of the sudden, you get this kind of Email.
What really happens to all the players you referred to them?
