I think Buzzy is taken as a little more coy on this matter than is really the case -- when saying "bwin has told buzzy" about this we meant we're on their business mailing list and received a press release. I think the reason it is considered buzz and posted under this name rather than a reporter's name is that the story is so preliminary at this point.

The Board of bwin Interactive Entertainment AG has noted the recent press speculation and confirms that it is in very preliminary discussions with Sportingbet plc for the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Sportingbet plc which may or may not lead to an offer.

For all I care sportingbet could go bankrupt. I'm still upset with the way the handled affiliates a couple years ago when they terminated the program.
