Question Can infographics improve my SEO?

Has anyone used infographics to promote their website? And if so, how can I add a share code to the infographics?

If sized appropriately for mobile, and supplementary to good text content, I think they can work.

However, IMHO (in my honest opinion), the infographic era ended a couple years ago. With occasional exceptions for certain industries or educational websites that explain concepts visually, infographics were beat into the ground.

It got to the point where people were adding a "How to checkout at XXXX website" infographic to their reviews of 8 shoe brands. While helpful and well intentioned, no one wants to scroll through a 3rd rate graphic describing a commonly understood process.

If they're too big, they annoy customers on mobile, too. And they can delay page load times unless you lazy load them or use some CSS hacks to delay rendering (not a good solution long-term).

Used carefully and sparingly, you'll probably be OK.

But I doubt they do much for SEO unless they go viral or get picked up by major media as a source citation. Good luck on that, because major media could easily ask someone on their team to create the same infographic themselves.

I've used infographics for clients in the past and they can work quite well. However, keep in mind that it's not just about adding infographics but about doing so when they are really useful to your audience (and visually appealing to them). Also, don't just create the infographic and leave it on your website; share it on forums, social media, and other platforms to get the ball rolling.

Interesting, was just looking at an infographic on an acquired site from years ago, thought about removing it but it is pretty informative to the reader so I made sure the link was correct for the site it came from and rendered properly in desktop and mobile.

That was part of the reason some people created infographics, was in the hope it was good enough others would use it or link to it.

A great infographic can get used by other websites, often generating a backlink to your website. This is where they're strong in SEO. And if created right around user intent, they can still give a small bump in the SERPs as well. With that being said, they're not what they were in the past, but then again, nothing in SEO is...

Yeah, they are still useful as part of the toolkit for getting backlinks. They are not what they used to be, especially as they can be churned out so easily now, but not to be dismissed either. I still use them for certain things.

I have had a few infographics done and it did increase the time spent on pages. However, I did see some other sites steal the graphic unfortunately. It takes a lot of effort to make a really good one with detailed research.

It surely can. Ass you know, Google likes the personal experience in content.
So I think it will be super profitable if you could combine the infographic with your experience and clarifications.

    The answer is Yes.

At moment as per SEO person I feel that it is also a factor to get traffic and helping is getting SERP high rank.

If we create detailed infographics with related content, it helps to grab good traffic.

Infographics can keep users on your page longer, signaling to Google that your content is valuable. Also I would use schema markup to categorize your infographic content, improving its visibility in rich search results..

Yes, infographics can improve your SEO in several ways:

Increased Engagement: Infographics are visually appealing and can capture user attention better than text alone. When users engage more with your content, it can lower bounce rates and increase the time spent on your site, which are positive indicators for search engines.

Shareability: Infographics are highly shareable on social media platforms and blogs. When people share your infographic, it can lead to backlinks from other websites, which are crucial for improving your site's authority and search rankings.

Backlinks: If your infographic provides valuable information, other websites may link back to it as a reference. This can help improve your domain authority, which is a significant factor in SEO.

Visual Search Optimization: With the growing use of visual search, having well-optimized images and infographics can help you rank in image search results. Including relevant keywords in the file names and alt text can boost your visibility.

Content Diversity: Including infographics in your content mix can help diversify your content offerings. This not only keeps your audience engaged but also may improve your overall content ranking in search engines.

Better User Experience: Infographics can help explain complex topics in a simplified manner, improving the overall user experience. Search engines value websites that provide a positive user experience.

Increased Dwell Time: By providing valuable, easy-to-digest information, infographics can help increase the time users spend on your page, which can positively impact SEO.

To maximize the SEO benefits of infographics, make sure to:

Use relevant keywords in the title, description, and alt tags.
Promote the infographic through social media and other channels.
Embed code in your infographic to make it easy for others to share and link back to your site.
Host the infographic on your site with accompanying text to provide additional context and information.
By effectively using infographics, you can enhance your content strategy and boost your overall SEO performance.

I’ve used infographics to promote websites, and they can be super effective. They’re eye-catching and easy to share, which helps drive traffic and get your content noticed. Plus, they’re great for simplifying complex info and can boost backlinks when shared.

Infographics can definitely improve your SEO if done right! They can naturally attract backlinks. To promote your website, create visually appealing and data-driven infographics that provide value to your audience.

For adding a share code, you can use tools like Embedly or plugins like Social Snap to generate an embed code. Include a line like: 'Feel free to share this infographic on your site using the code below!' This encourages others to share it while linking back to your site.

Yes, and again yes, posing the infographics give you

    1. Opportunity to be shown on the images search
    2. Make the user stay longer on the page
    3. Make your content more relevant and increases CTR if you mention that you have inforgraphics on the page

I think a lot are reading really old info from a lot of the seo sites that continue to push old tactics. It might be possible that some of those old tactics work in some niches, but as many of us know iGaming is a little bit different.

Often it is only after long periods of time do they realize many of the old tactics do not work, especially on newer sites.

As for the infographics themselves, I think they are far less effective then they used to be (as are MANY tactics) and as nodepositcasinos, and a few others said, they can be more effective if they are good for the visitor and can increase time on page or time on site.
