Can a Newbie still earn a decent income from gambling websites?

I too was very hesitant to answer the OP's question at first, as I think it is always good to do your homework first before asking questions and I always get a little bit annoyed by some of the easy or even lazy questions. Of course there is money to be made in this business. Why do you think there are so many affiliate sites? Is there easy money to be made? I don't think so. Can you make 3k a month? Absolutely. But it will come only if you show great determination, work hard and have the ability to learn.

Just browse through the forum and click on some of the links in the signatures. You will get some great examples of great sites that are making money. Some will be making a small to medium amount like my own sites (but growing each month!), some a lot and some are making huge amounts of money. I try to learn as much as I can from others. If I like the way a certain portal or tipping site is set up, I try to learn from it as much as I can.

So here are some tips from a (semi-) newbie:
- Explore other affiliate sites and learn from them
- Find something unique to write about that will make you stand out from the 1000's of other sites. For instance, if you have a deep passion for Netent slots, write about that. It will take a lot less effort to write about something that you are passionate about and your readers can absolutely tell if you are genuine or just in it for the money.
- Make friends with other affiliates and share knowledge, subaffiliate links and tips. I have done this and it has helped me tremendously. And vice versa.
- Take action. The internet is forgiving. It does not have to be 100% right from the start. Make mistakes. Rewrite pages. Fiddle around with menus. Try different keywords. Find out what works and what doesn't. And once you find something that works, repeat it.
- Work hard and keep at it.
- Try to put some new content up at least every day (in case of a casino portal) and keep your pages up to date.

Only a few see any income within a few months. Most take at least 6 - 12 months. I did.

When I started I didnt ask questions just read the forums and tried to catch up.Back in these days you could log into CAP and need 2+ hours to read the morning post then refresh and need another hour.There were so many of us who contributed to the forum back then but these days it seems not so much .I think there may still be loads of great advise buried in older threads ,it definitely is a long road ahead but if you are one of the lucky ones it is a great way to earn a living
