$2.50 seems mega cheap for "online casino" , but it is generic / informational, and prob won't convert as well as something like "casino bonus" which has user intent to play (i bet the CPC for this is higher, right?)

CPCs will be somehow related to ARPU and conversion rates for speficic keywords / clusters in that geo no doubt.

Yes, otherwise CPC would be in the $50-$100 range.

Not sure if its the case now but Casino and Gambling data were never valued in Google USA due to restrictions, that may differ with NJ etc, however the easy to scrape pages are long gone and have to be compiled manually

Hi Casionmark, CA player value in general is very good. Targeting the right KW is the key to attract the valuable players. Presently CA is where you can find better player value.

Canada values - average deposits for 12 months - can reach upto 1700EUR depending on kws clouds. Market is quite crowded there - both SEO and PPC (grey). Many good established brands and new entrants with decent conversions.

at one of programs i am at 40% rev share which was enabled after value of players was greater than 200 USD which was prepaid as CPA

the average value of player reached the 200 USD = they lost netto 500 USD in about 3 years, but the value is still rising

But that is just one program where I have those data. Overall the value of average player for affiliate will be much greater. I would say 2K if the revenue share is really for life (which indeed it is not in this crooked world). Of course for small affiliate it is a lottery where you either catch the whale or not.

Even when Canada is great because one can promote nearly anyone, the US market is better (not for the "licensed" crooks).

I'd second this based on my small sample. Canadian casino players have been great for me, sports bettors have been cheapos (a whole lot of $20 bettors). Living in Canada now and having lived in the US, I'd say Canadians just aren't as interested in sports betting as a generalization, from conversations I've had. For example they'll follow the NFL but they are no where near as passionate about it nor betting on it as Americans.

i have mixed feelings about canada. 99% of the online casinos target this market currently and value of players drop fast when using ad networks... organic traffic is still coverting pretty good...cant say much about conversion for adwords though as i havent used that for canada.

but indeed pricewise its still relatively cheap compared to some european countries, depending on the ad network you use...to be honest not sure why this is...

In my limited sample size, Canadian poker traffic is worth very little relative to US traffic. However, my sample size with the former is very small compared to the later.

I wish we could make more inroads into ranking in Canada, but it seems to be a tough cookie to crack. Hard to find genuine Canadian backlinks necessary to boost us in the SERPS there.
