I applied to Casino Coins over a week ago. I never heard anything, not an email, nothing. I wrote them a 2nd email a few days ago, and never heard back. Is that normal? It seems odd to me.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!
Thanks, I PMed my info to you. Since this post though I was reading the Casino Affilaite Program board. There seem to be some posts there of people unhappy with the Casino Coins program. How do people here feel about them?
I think a lot of poeple are in the same boat I'm in, you send good traffic and nothing ever coverts.

I have been an affiliate for Casino Coins for quite a number of years.
My results personally have been much less than desired for sure, although I have seen a slight turn around recently.
Even though they have turned around some, they are still not up to what I would like to see, and can easily see myself reducing their exposure a bit more, but some players do in fact like their properties so I plan on keeping them around.
Their affiliate staff has always been fairly responsive in terms of getting back to you quickly with answers, or at least a timetable for working out answers.
Except for a minor issue with my particular account (which is being worked out) I have never had problems getting paid, and they have recently lowered their payment threshold for those using preferred payment methods.

I really like casinocoins and promoted them heavy when I first launched my site and sent quite a bit of traffic there way but never had a single conversion. I still promote their properties but they don't get the exposure on my site like they once did.
When they first launched i was one of the top 10 affiliates there. My biggest paycheck ever is from them. Unfortunately after they dumped microgaming and relaunched using odds on software everything went to hell including conversions and player retention. I went from 20 - 35 k a month to less than $500 after 4 months.
I unfortunately cannot recommend them.

Remember, I am a "freshman". Does "not convert" mean that people click through to the site but then do not become players?
Also, with some affiliates, how do you know if action is from player retention or from a new player? I really like the cryptologic places that give names to players so you can see who is doing what. I don't see this feature in the others.
A lot of casinos allow you to see individual player stats that is how you know if the action is from new players or old players.
When I say the site doesn't convert that usualy means i can send a lot of good traffic and get no new players. With casino coins i probably have to send 300 - 500 hits to get 1 new player. Other properties that perform this bad for me are referback and casinorewards. With some casinos that much traffic would land me 20 - 40 new players.

Interesting you say this about referback. As a player I always found their customer service to be seriously lacking, and I found it odd that many portal owners gave them such great placement. As opposed to Fortune Lounge who I thought had great customer service.Originally Posted by casinoranking
As for Casino Coins, I was going to add them because a webmaster that I respect a lot has them on his list of reputable casinos, but I may rethink that.
I've been with casinocoins for a long time, but never had much success with them... And I too have reduced their exposure to almost none...
But I will say this - they got a lot of feedback from GPWA members about a range of topics, including conversion a couple months ago and have taken a lot of it to heart and appear to be trying to turn things around. The affiliate managers are usually quick to respond to questions and I rarely hear of a problem with them paying their webmasters.
Quite true Matt.
I am personally seeing much better conversions now than last year, and with much much much more reduced exposure.

i feel like i have been advertising them since the beginning of time
seriously, i have been promoting them since i started in the business and that a bit over 2 years now. I can tell you they get more exposure than many of the properties i promote and i cant make a dime with them.
the only reason i keep them is because i have pages dedicated to them, their progressives and software. Removing those pages could be harmful now in a search engine due to spidered content
or else they would have been history. in my opinion, not worth the time or effort. There are many better properties out there that will convert.

I agree with you regarding casino coins and conversion and traffic, it is a catch 22 regarding removing them and search engines.
