Burgers and beer sounds good, but will be for tomorrow. Fridayevening means working. The hard life of an alone-working-affiliate. Tomorrow is time for family and also sunday is time for family & church.

I hope we'll get some Sunny weather, so that I'll have a BBQ outside. Nothing better than a freshed grilled beef burger with some baken unions, Jack Daniels BBQ sauce and some salad.

@ Sweet bet, don't mention Pizza..... I LOVE PIZZA - a Mexicana with extra Chili or a Regina with extra feta.... YUMMY!!

Wow well this has totally hit me for a sixer today.

I have a comp on Saturday and I'm 3 days out, so I haven't had anything like that for weeks. No pizza, no burgers, no anything. I'm so carb depleted right now and seeing that burger has just totally made me salivate. Thinking about how good the cheese would taste melted on that meat. O. M. G.

Guess I better go eat my chicken and bok choy :/

hahaha, sorry for putting you through this torture my dear ... Shame hang in there, it's almost weekend. Just think how rewarding that Burger or pizza will be after you claim that 1 place.

You wont say it now, but I used to be big into fitness,martial arts and cycling back in the day so I know all about pre-contest diets etc.....

It's ok. Everyone around me is eating chocolate, chips, etc. leaving choc chip cookies next to the coffee machine. Even toast is looking mighty fine right now. I'm a strong willed person so it's not getting to me too much.

I have 2 weeks between this comp and a second comp so I get a cheat meal sat night and can eat what I want until Sunday midday then I have to go back on comp diet. I will be finding a burger that looks like this and having it for breakfast on Sunday that's for sure.

Well, it's my Bday this coming Saturday and going to a well known Rib joint here is SA and this is what I will be having... yummm!
1 KG rack of Ribs called "The Lone Ranger" and lots of BEER!

My favourite steak place in the world is in Joburg called turn and tender. I've never had a better steak. I never had ribs there but can only imagine they would be amazing too.

What's your sauce choice when it comes to ribs? Do you just go the regular basting or you have another sauce on there?

And beer. Something I miss dearly. Have one for me!

Hi R,

Yeah turn and tender make some good steaks. Next time you in JHB, lets us know and we will take you out for a GREAT steak. There are a coupon of great steak houses. As for my sauce of choice, I go for their original BBQ basting - sweet, sticky but tangy!! But then dash on loads of HOT sauce and then wash that all down with a few ice cold Draught's (pints).

Oh my word, I only have two days left and then it's ON ...lol...
