    Default Castle casino to close

    Just had this drop into my mailbox;

Rest assured, before shut down of the website players will receive ample warning and all funds will be withdrawable.

We appreciate all of your hard work promoting us over the years and are disappointed this will have to end. All commissions up until the date of affiliate program closure will be honoured.

    Thanks for posting this Duncan.

I've been involved with Castle from the start and I'm sorry to see it close - but it's the right decision given the circumstance.

I appreciate the support from all affiliates throughout the journey, we're still involved in the industry with several products - so I'll be around!

    Cheers

Yet another lesson learned : do not trust affiliate programs that have affiliate managers / directors that have websites that compete with you.

BTW I always have had a bad feeling about them but the worst thing is that Dave/David Merry has been lying the whole time about him being honest.

Please do not jump to conclusions because of a LiveChat operator, and I certainly don't appreciate GCG accusing me of lying when that is not the case. You can simply ask, there is nothing to hide here.

Castle has not renewed it's contract and is currently seeing out it's minimum remaining period with the software company. It's being wound down, although it's not as simple as just pulling the plug.

So are affiliates getting paid during this wind down period? Going by TBO's post you seem to be accepting new customers - that's an odd practice for a casino winding down.

The only conclusion I can find at this stage is that this company is trying to "cut" their loses on the expense of the affiliates...
Even if this casino is going to pull the plug eventually, they still should pay their partners... but they do it because they can I guess

You need to honor your affiliate contracts as the casino is still generating (and has all the previous months) income, but you have chosen not to (have it both ways).

    Archive.org :

    COMMISSION :

"You will continue to earn 35% of these players revenue continually for the rest of there playing lifetime."

"No surprises, nasty contract clauses or sneaky negative rollover you'll find implemented a few months into promotion, what you see is what you get"

your program promised life time player revenue to affiliates which has been a lie.

    just my 2 cents.

I couldn't agree more. Sick of affiliate programs going back on their legally binding terms.

This post should be used to send to any new program/casino AM when they call you to discuss a rev-share life-time deals

And where in the T&C is written that in case of not renewing the contract you shouldn't respect the terms?

In which other casinos are this jokers involved? Good to blacklist them all.

Why is not as simple as just pulling the plug? Maybe flipping the servers power switch would be easier?

True. This is just another casino in troubles because of poor management and trying to save their ass by breaching contracts.

I see they're offering Dutch language. Red Slots was fined for this last week.
