Dear Affiliates,

First off, we'd like to extend a big, warm ありがとう (thank you). It's been wonderful working together in the vibrant Japanese market. From the start, your dedication and partnership have made an impact, and we've truly valued our collaboration.

However, from the 1st of November 2023, we're taking a new turn and will be closing our acquisitions in Japan. Which is why we kindly need to ask you to remove all Casumo-related content from your sites by then.

Needless to say, we'll make sure all your outstanding commissions land safely in your accounts in full.

I have never understood the deal with Casumo, as a brand. They're not right there on the top, not anywhere close to the dump. Yet, seem to have lasted so many years.

The following was received this morning announcing the error.

Dear Affiliates,

We'd like to apologise for any confusion caused by our latest newsletter regarding the closing of acquisitions in Japan and we'd like to reassure you that we are not leaving the market.

Our Japanese players will maintain access to their accounts and we will continue to allow new sign-ups in this market.

However, because our Japanese acquisition plans have been revoked, we will no longer be paying commission for new players as of the 1st of November.

In other words, don't tell Japanese players not to sign up, but we have no interest in paying YOU for the Japanese players you send.

How convenient... what they actually say is: "we'll keep accepting Japanese, but you'll not get your commission anymore.... why? because we can.. thank you"

In other words, don't tell Japanese players not to sign up, but we have no interest in paying YOU for the Japanese players you send.
