Chalkie is despondent

Chalkie is a little despondent and fragile at the moment!

Just decided to go back to live poker after many years absence and here is the last few days work:

Wed - £30 freezeout FT pays out and i finished 12th

Thursday - freezeout headhunter made final table finished 7th with 5 paid and i only managed to get 1 bounty!

Friday - Sat to Grosvener UK poker tour bubbled

Friday - rebuy bubbled

Sunday £150 freezout GUKPT 2 day side event made second day lasted half hour and finished 19th with 14 paid!

Right, got that of my chest off and feel better now!

i can feel your pain.

i was playing a $1500 limit tourn at the 2006 WSOP.

I was all-in, they announced "Just 1 more player till the money", we flipped cards the dealer yelled "Seat Open", the announcer said "Congrats you'll all made it!"

I got up shaking my head, i had a JQ, 1 hand from being blinded out when i went All-In. A pro i had met on the party poker cruise, had a pair of 10s and beat me.

I was just going to say I don't know how anybody so loved they get more than 3 pages of responses to their question should they change their name/avatar (I can't remember off-hand) ... can be despondent?

Chalkie which locations are you playering at???

I bet the last 2 games have been in the Midlands, Soft poker playres just like the footballers.

Playing local in the midlands of course, in one of the few clubs in the country that manages to get a min of 2 games a day everyday!

Quality games for quality players.

Oh yeah and i got a further £450 tonight too, when we split the £50 freezeout 3 ways
