    Default Change Site Title

    Hi guys,

On my site www.stakeside.com I still have it saying sporting previews at the top.

Does anyone know where/how I can change this...I know its in the wordpress admin somewhere, just not sure where...

Probably a silly question but I've been looking for ages and cant find where to edit it

    thanks!
    J

    Go to 'appearance', then 'customise'

I have tried that - does it take a while for changes to take effect?

Also, I did change my domain name so that could be something to do with it...

If you are making changes on your site and check on it after, make sure to hard refresh the page by hitting CTRL + F5. Because sometimes when you just only hit refresh you will not see if the changes has already been made.

You can use Theme customization to make changes in your theme layout or outlook and if you have a lot of know about html/css you can also edit theme coding for make changes as you desire.

You can also check if the updates have been saved by using a seo toolbar such as seoquake. Clicking on "diagnosis" whilst on the corresponding page will show you all sorts of information including your website title that is displayed in the SERPs.

I can't seem to get it to update. There are a few areas which say title and description all of which I have edited but still no change :/
