Default Comparisons with Conversions - December from November

I am gearing up to bunker down the next week to put in 12-16 hours work days on the sites to get them ready for XMAS season. In my opinion the season has already started. BUt wanted to get an idea of what others though and expect when it comes to increases in deposits and conversions for the month of December. I know personally numbers are way up.

Is the use of Christmas CTA's good for this? - I was thinking of adding some XMAS headers and different call to actions such as,

"Treat Yourself for Christmas" "Play at Christmas" -- LOL seems corny but I was wondering if people thought this was a good idea to trial out.

I have test a few things the last week and it really helped allot for the PER DAY deposits!

Just curious what people do for the Christmas season - I know from now until at least the 2nd week in December I will working 16 hours days to generate as many leads as possible. Since its the time for people to spend spend spend!!

So far leading up to December things are looking really nice.

Just a suggestion, and by all means you do not have to take it, but since not everyone around the world celebrates christmas, it might be a good idea to write the following instead:

    Treat yourself for the holidays
    Play during the holidays/holiday season

    Just my 2c
    Cheers

I'm not sure about this - in the UK (and other parts of the EU maybe?) I don't know anyone that calls christmas 'the holidays' (other than my wife, but she's american). For us 'holidays' means a holiday - sun cream, cocktails and cakes. So people in the UK would wonder what the heck you were going on about.

It's probably impossible to come up with one thing that will work for everyone, so I say just go with the traditional unless you're targeting a specific market.

We use holiday here the same as the UK but here people have time off work over christmas, easter etc. So if you said holidays here, people would still know what you're talking about. We also say things like Seasons Greetings and call it the silly season.

I suppose it does depend on who you're targeting.

LOL hahaha Judy your a riot! Damn thats great idea!! You know i wanted to test out something different - something that could work. I do agree though there is no sure way - it was an idea I had. Gotta think about it a bit more i would not want to lose conversions though by doing something that would limit myself to a certain market. Most traffic comes from Europe and Canada anyways - UK is really a huge target for us and Canada! So really I think the Christmas idea could still be fruitful - but have to consider other things still Up in the air on this.
