Arrow CPays NOT paying USA accounts?

I took down sites related to cpays awhile ago. Looking over my account recently, I noticed that i had a payment due. I emailed them to get my payment, and below was the response i got: (Way to Rip off the USA!)

Due to the recent US law against Online Gambling, all payments for US-based affiliates are currently unavailable. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
For now, payment can only be made via Wire Transfer to a non-US based bank account. Please provide us a non-US based account number so that we can send your payments.
Please feel free to e-mail us for any questions you may have.

    Sincerely,
    Bruce

I just had this conversation with a CPay customer service rep using their online chat function. They've confirmed (after some prodding) that they can not pay into U.S. accounts. Here's the text of the chat:
Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Jessa'
Your Issue ID for this chat is LTK9105577267X
Jessa: Welcome to CPays Online Support. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Jessa. How may I help you today?
    Vin: Hi Jessa,
Vin: I saw on a GPWA message board that you will no longer be able to pay affiliates in the U.S.
    Jessa: Hello there...
    Vin: Is that correct?
Jessa: That's a very good question Vin. May I ask for your Username?
Jessa: So I can check as well your account with us/
Vin: I don't have a username -- though I suppose Casino City might -- I'm just checking on behalf of other affiliates who have the same questions.
Jessa: Well, just to keep you posted, we are still able to pay our US based affiliates. Why don't you sign up with us now as an affiliate so I can discuss more about this for you.
Vin: Are you able to pay into U.S. bank accounts, or only into non-U.S. bank accounts? That's critical information for affiliates.
Jessa: Thank you for asking that however, I would be able to give you more information on this once you have signed up with us.
Vin: Can you at least say if the text of this e-mail is accurate:
Vin: Due to the recent US law against Online Gambling, all payments for US-based affiliates are currently unavailable. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. For now, payment can only be made via Wire Transfer to a non-US based bank account. Please provide us a non-US based account number so that we can send your payments. Please feel free to e-mail us for any questions you may have. Sincerely, Bruce Affiliate Relations
Jessa: May I ask where you got that e-mail so I can verify as well?
Vin: It was posted to a forum.
    Jessa: Yes it is correct.
    Vin: ok. thank you.
    Jessa: You're welcome.

They sure are pushy, aren't they? Sign up, sign up, sign up!

Why did "Jessa" urge you to sign up and promote their brands if he/she knew that you wouldn't be able to receive your commission payment?

Why doesn't Cpays have EcoCard as a payment option yet? Most reputable affiliate programs have had EcoCard available for two months now. Same thing with checks. There is absolutely no reason why an affiliate program can't pay their U.S. affiliates by check, wire, or EcoCard.

Considering that Cpays is owned by Playtech, you would think they'd be the first program to get these issues sorted out.

I took down sites related to cpays awhile ago.
    Wise move.

C-Pays has probably got to be the worst, most rip-off affiliate program around. I would not promote them if they were the last affiliate program on earth!! I stopped promoting them a few years back when it took for 3 months for them to pay me about $250. That was enough for me. If they can't or won't pay $250, what do you think they are going to do if you make a few hundred or a few thousand.

I am not suprised at all that they have taken this stance about not paying U.S. affiliates.

That online help conversation really shows me how this company does business. Avoiding the question however possible! Strong residuals is about the only reason I can think of why anyone would continue with these idiots.

    Thumbs down

Maybe putting a dent in their bankroll may make a difference by Chasing down the cpays spam affiliates?

Everytime I think of Cpays the Capitol One Mastercard jingle comes to mind "hands in my pocket"

Idiots? perhaps of kind word to use.

I wonder if there has been any player complaints?

They are ALWAYS soooooo pushy. If you are a current affiliate it is:

'Put us on your homepage or we will drop your commission percentage to 20%'

If you are not an affiliate yet it is:

A call out of the blue telling you to 'put them on your website and you will earn major $$$'

Always pushy, pushy. And then.... their use of BlackHat spam operators to promote their brands.

What a strange bunch.... Not sure how their business model works for them, but I would CERTAINLY be more than happy to see them go broke!

    Hey Everyone!

I was not sure if you read this in the CPays Thread-

    Hi all,

After verifying with our finance department we do pay US affiliates via Wire Transfer.

    Best regards,
    Oren - CPays manager

Do they pay US affiliates via wire into US accounts? That seems to be the catch.

    Casino Pays. Yuck!!

One of the worst affiliate programs in the industry. I am not surprised they have pulled a stunt like this. Work with them at your peril! I will be glad when programs such as CPays no longer have a presence on communities such as the GPWA and CAP.

After reading that online chat discussion, I have noticed that with online gaming sites. Sometimes, they are not so much interested in helping you, but they want to get you signed up, THEN they will provide you with some help.

I couldn't agree more. I keep getting emails from Al at Cpays telling me that we can work out some sort of deal or some ****. I was on revenue share for a long time and have generated NEGATIVE revenue. I told him that I wouldn't consider sending even 1 more player unless he gets me $400 cpa and ships the payments via check...

Guess we're not working together eh?

    Sidenote: CasinoPartners rules, Cpays drules
