Current SERPs

Hi -

Anyone else noticing a lot of issues with SERPs right now - Gambling.com ranking one and two for some keywords, PR newswire releases taking featured snippets when they are obviously affiliate pages reworked as a press article, very little general stability.

I know this isn't completely unusual, but feels even more chaotic than normal. Maybe a core release is due / upcoming to sort things out?

Interested to hear anyone else's current experience.

I think they are preparing to May update...

Hope it won't affect sites as much as it did it the last year.

I posted similar topic while ago. It started in several countries, positions aare jumping wild at the moment. Yesterday was even TOP 3 on the most competitive keywords in Hong Kong area.

I got the same feeling. A lot of weird answers to some search terms as well.

Just eyeballing a few searches and my general feeling is that the ad slots are more prominent and dominant than ever before right now and there are less position zero spots being filled. Clearly google want to make money and the more people who resign themselves to PPC as a result, the more money they'll make.

In Italy some fluctuations for high traffic terms since March 27th. Positive for us
