I'm not affiliated with any binary options sites, nor do I own any, however I have traded Forex in the past. From what I gather nowadays, is that the whole binary option scheme is ousted for what it is; nothing more than glorified gambling. In Forex you generally set your risk and profit potential yourself, however in binary options as you may well know you don't, and people now over the past year have become clued up on this, and realise that there really isn't an edge for the 'trader' when using options. If you go onto any forex forum and mention binary options, most people usually shoot you down for being foolish, because at the end of the day the broker always has control of your risk with their edge.
That's my view on it anyway, but decline on traffic could be for other reasons.

Binary is just betting sportwith odds about 1.7, not good at all.
Why people are playing this binary options is a mystery for me.![]()

Never got into it but we still get some emails asking us to push them.
I'm pretty much in agreement link22 and Gamer said.
A bad gamble dressed up as a financial derivative ... most of the supporting publicity was somewhere between hype and con.
It took experienced gamblers about 2 minutes to realise that 50/50 bets on micro-movements with a payout of 1.70 - 1.80 was awful gambling. The rest of the internet took 1-12 months depending on whether they figured it out - or just experienced the enduring drain on their wallets.
The over-round is awful - about as bad at state-run lotteries.
Agreed, I think link22 said it very well.

Yes.
I came here looking for the same question.
The past few months have been disappointing even though overall traffic increased substantially to my websites.
You also have to note that US is starting to go after brokers and payment processors, like it happened with poker in the past. There are already reports of US traders being declined by their banks to have their deposits made at offshore binary brokers.
I beg to differ in this topic. Binary Options is rising in popularity over the past few months and not declining. Google should be your guide in this case.
Google is indeed the guide... pretty much every search term related to binary options brings up the forbes.com don't gamble article and the SEC and FCC fraud warnings. Almost every searcher sees those. Those definitely have an effect on signups and conversions even though the traffic is there.
Did any of you guys see any improvements in signups and conversions? Any effect of summer should already long be gone now.
I echo much of what has been said here. I've seen traffic rates increase and conversion rates heading lower. I think the US regulatory changes have't much helped matters but the customer is also getting smarter I think.
That said, in Forex I have seen an increase if can get yourself in front of the right audience, even with high ticket items.
