SEO if done correctly can save you lots of money (provided competition isn't too tough).

    Synthesized differences:

1 - SEO is slower results than PPC
2 - SEO is much more durable results than PPC
3 - SEO is cheap compared to the PPC
4 - SEO is a constant work, the PPC you only pay

    Regards

Re Google Adwords i.e. PPC I have problems with Google banning my adverts as they claim not to allow adverts for gambling, which of course covers bingo and other fairly soft games.

This makes me sort of mad when they clearly do allow ppc for gambling as their are loads of paid ads for loads of different gambling keywords. Please tell me how do you get Google to accept ppc campaigns for gambling keywords / ads?

I think you need to have a some kind of license for the origin country searchers come from.

Google only allows advertising in certain countries. For many of them you need a license, but for the UK you can apply online as an aggregator.

But Google has very high prices for certain keywords which sucks. There are better network out there. I still have to tap into PPC more thoroughly.

They indeed are quite expensive, but fortunately there are many good and cheap alternatives.

I'd be willing to give ppc a go if it wasn't racked with fraudulent clicks. seo is more long term, cheaper and people click on the links because they want to and not because of any financial incentives.

PPC stands out Pay per Click. It is an Internet marketing formula used to price online advertisements. In PPC programs the online advertisers will pay Internet Publishers the agreed upon PPC rate when an ad is clicked on.
SEO or Search Engine Optimization is used for getting a site to rank better in search engines using techniques that are both technical and marketing oriented.
