Default Digging out of a big hole....

Ok. I really like Casino Partners a lot as they give me the best conversions and have a good affiliate manager (and nice affiliate tools). One problem I've just hit though. A player won several thousand dollars (I think about 5k) and it wiped out my account as far as the money I had profited on the month. Obviously I'm still new so I don't have a massive number of accounts going but I am wondering now how long it will take me to climb outta the hole as it set me back a bit. From what I read, Casino Partners carries the negative amount over each month... so I am guessing I'll be in the whole for at least a couple more months which is kind of a bummer.

Now... if someone else wins another 5k next month I'll be twice as much in the whole! Has anyone else experienced this? I'm sure for veterans with sites that are booming it's not an issue as losses are made up with the new depositors / existing players, but for someone who only has a handful of accounts at Casino Partners thus far I'm afraid this one will take me a LONG time to get out of. The biggest bummer is the person deposited 1k, played one day, and withdrew ALL the money in less than one week. So... I dont think that would be a returning player.

Many players play back their winnings... sorry to hear that isn't the case.

After the month is over, you can email the affiliate manager and ask them to clear the negative... If the dont want to, you can either work out of the hole or promote other casinos which do clear negatives (or at the very least, you start from $0!)

Thanks for the reply. Do you know which casinos clear negatives at the start of each month? I think the only one I've seen is RewardsAffiliates, but my conversions there have been low so far. The ideal would be to find casinos that convert well AND clear negatives each month.

There are several affiliate programs that do not carry over negatives. You can find a few of them on my Webmasters page.

    CasinoDawg,
I've started a casino portal recently, and signed up for CasinoBlasters.com. As far as I can see they don't carry a negative balance AND for your first month they give you 50% revenue share (36% after first month). Creatives are good, and they are promoting 6 online casinos. (1 mobile and 1 bingo as well).

As far as paying out affiliates.. I don't know yet.. BUT hopefully I will in the next few months.

I do plan on starting other accounts, and increase the portfolio. I think it would be a smart move.

I originally wanted to to focus on a white branded casino (Thus my name) but quickly realized the benefits of the portals. Luckly you have the luxury of being able to promote what you want, where you want on your same internet realestate..

Please post ehat they say when you request they wipe out your negative balance.

    Cheers

You know, I like the CPartners program, too, BUT I've been carrying a negative with them for over a year now and have really cut back their exposure.

Default Great idea for you CasinoDawg!

    CasinosDawg,
Here's what I would do If I was you. Turn a negative into a positive! Advertise on your main site the lucky winner and boast about it.. Yell it from the top of the highest building. That's what your clients want to replicate right! That's waht your offering to them so do it!

Here's some personal examples of mine. Go to this link and check out my news section: http://www.wagerx.com/news/news.asp

You'll see an article news article called "April's Mega Webcam Casino Bonuses 300% welcome Bonus!!." Hmm.. the bonus in normally 100% not 300%. The bonus setting were poorly configured and some deposters got the first, second, and third bonus simultaneously. That meant that a player who deposited $100 ended up with a total of $400 in their account. You've got to remmeber that webcam casino is based on real las vegas odds, and can't afford to give high bonuses away, becasue people do win.. and frequently. I HAD to honor it, I would have liquidated my personal account to honor them all if I had to. Luckily, I only lost about $700 or so. BUT one lucky guy deposited $150, and then made up to $1400 with playing through the play through requirement!.. good for him.. but the buddling casino took a hurt that month.
Anyway.. I promoted the winner and called the "oversight" a surprise bonus..

That's my point really, promote the winners with a smile, and be happy for them.. becuase it will help in the long run.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the responses. I'm actually happy the person won... but I wish it came at a time where I wasnt jsut starting out (assuming other accounts would make up for it). I tried to email my affiliate manager and see if she could help me out with the negative issue, but every time I send an email to her it gets bounced back to me as an email from here. It's not an "undelivered"... it's just an email from her address that contains my original message. Anyway, I have looked into some of the non-negative carry over casinos and plan on promoting them a lot harder. I already had CasinoBlasters for a while, and just signed up with WagerProfits not too long ago. So far with Wager been getting some good response this month as far as downloads go. Referback is still killing me as I'm batting 0%. Man... I have a ton of work to do updating my affiliates! Time to rotate some of these out. Thanks again everyone!

Please keep us updated on the response from your affiliate manager. Personally, I wouldn't want to work with an affiliate program that didn't respond to these issues.

I know what you mean... and it's frustrating as I have not gotten a real response back yet. I am going to assume right now there was a glitch on their side and try it again if I dont hear from my affiliate manager by Wednesday.
