Are sites such as this worth it? Plenty of you guys appear to think so judging by the affiliate sites on there but just seems a bit odd to me.

I list all of my sites there, it's a relativity cheap link if you pay for a permanent listing, but wait until they have a 50% off deal, roughly every 3 months or so.

I'm not sure if it is worth it, but definitely wait for the 50% off deal. They do it on Black Friday every year, perhaps their anniversary/birthday, and some other times. I'm not sure if it's every 3 months (I was thinking twice a year), but wait for the 50% off sale

It's good to dilute you anchor profile with naked link or brand term ads. If it's free - use it, but do not expect a lot of value.

Google knows this is a directory. So this is probably the most worthless backlink you can get.

Good for the owner though.

Avoid sites like this is my humble opinion.
