    Default Disappointing News

    Hi Everyone:

I know the press and other releases have been out since yesterday, and I apologize for the late post today. It is true that Global Player will cease to operate its casino and poker brands as of 11:59pm tonight. The decision came on the heels of a recent evaluation, which resolved that it was no longer viable to continue to operate.

All Affiliates can rest assured that their final payments will be issued on December 3rd and, thereafter, they will have a one-month period to withdraw their funds.

I would like to take this time to thank GPWA for their assistance in promoting the Global Player brand and to all the Members who welcomed us into the fold.

We'll miss you all because you guys rock!

The Global Player Affiliate Marketing Team

    P.S. Enjoy the holidays everyone!

    Wow...

    I'm shell shocked...

I've followed the Global Player progress since they first hit the industry back in late 99. You quickly built up such a sartorial service & one which IMHO has only only been equalled by a few.

Although this is a very sad time, Global Player can hold its head high (and should do so) in the knowledge of the merits that it achieved.

Now we are seeing the real casualties of the UIGEA. While we witness further dodgy casino's open their doors in place of integrity driven establishments such as Global Player Casino.

Reiterating it is a very sad day.

Thank you for taking the time to post this message.

    Cheers Global Player

    Hi Dave:

Words cannot express our gratitude for your compliments and very kind words.

We enjoyed some very good times in the industry and learned so much over the years. By far, most rewarding was knowing that our Affiliate Partners and Players were satisfied with the services we were able to provide to them.

Goodbyes are never easy, so let's just say we had a great run, but, alas, the curtain has fallen and the performance has come to a close.

Thanks again, Dave, and all the best!
