You can, but it takes a lot of hard work and determination.

Start by choosing the market (product, language, country, etc.) you are interested in and then find a related domain.

Next, set up your website. Keep in mind that design and structure are very important. Ensure your site runs quickly, has an attractive look, and has something different about it. With so many other competitors in the industry, creating something that will set you apart is key.

Creating quality content is the next step. People are not looking for sites dedicated solely to affiliate links. They are looking for interesting and useful content. Write reviews, share your tips and tricks, and stay up to date with the industry news.

Lastly, you have to keep at it. Success will not come in a day. Many affiliates put in 100+ hours per week to get their site where it is today.

    Good luck!

It will take hard work and focus but is certainly possible. Best way to start is to pick a smaller topic that has less competition and build your traffic.

Yes. If you build it, they will come Seriously, you just have to be careful in deciding which affiliate programs to join, and then send them targeted traffic.

of course it is possible. There are lots of competition indeed, but fortunately in this business 95% of competitors have poor sites, poor ideas or are lazy. (or all of them together). The other 5% are here on GPWA so you came to the right place

Start a site in your language. And be patient. You dont need 1000 unique visitors per day, you need a wale.

Lots of great advice on the forum here over the years so well worth the effort to read as much as you can on the subject.

I'd say it's still possible to start from scratch and make a decent income, however it needs to be a pretty damn good idea. Social is playing a far more important part in my opinion and the new breed of affiliate winners are probably going to be heavily involved with social media to drive interest, traffic and ultimately FTDs/revenue.

Talking sportsbook specifically, it's relatively easy (and I mean 'relatively' as opposed to 'easy') to recruit new punters for new/low saturation brands but they won't necessarily produce you anywhere near the same revenue as the big established brands. For us a new bet365 account, on average, is still worth 20 times that of some others smaller brands over the longer term. So the brands you promote will also likely have a strong bearing on your success.

My view is that the affiliate/brand relationship will shift over time to slightly heavier focus on retention as opposed to acquisition. We're increasingly being asked to promote offers/deals to existing customers nowadays, in effect making the affiliate more of an extension of the marketing team than a new customer salesman. In that respect the longer term role of an affiliate is still wholly valid, but that doesn't pay the wages if you're starting out and scratching around for FTDs!

Best of luck anyhow, hope it works out for you.

I'm Going to answer your question directly
Can a Newbie still earn a decent income from gambling websites?
Not likely.. very few enter this biz and make money as a newbie.. some lucky ones will land a big player for sure.. but most of us had to work away trying different things to see what works, a recent poll here averaged time frames of 1 year to make some sort of substantial income.. I have worked fulltime for a few years and the first site i had to destroy and start again.. though now when i look back i wouldn't change a thing.. when you start it's tough but if you can be one for the few that stick and make it work you will look back in a few years and see how far you have come

Over the years I have had many other affiliates as well as family friends ask me to 'teach ' them how to do what I do and earn what we do.They assume I have a special receipe to do this and when I tell them in 2007 i invested $130,000 cash into our business and i was spending about 100 hours a week the time period of 2005 -2007 they got silent lol.You kinda need to have a bit of a gambler in you to take the chances I did when I started and also the times were different back 10 years ago .Even now we still go though some big hurdles with our partners pulling out of markets or in some cases going out of business completely.
Most dont know my story but i got into the 'internet marketing' thing as a hobby after my car accident , i did the ebay thing for 3-4 years before i even had my first website ,I didn't count on my success to pay the bills either. If you have time and want to 'try' I would never discourage anyone but it is a long uphill road and don't put your day job at risk

10 years ago it was easy.... i put up a site and made $1000 a month without any html skills or marketing.. now it is more difficult but still there are more internet users so if one just can manage some traffic i believe chances are still there.

It is still possible but you would need time and patience. Don't give up after one month if you are not seeing any visitors coming. Producde fresh content on a daily basis and give it 6 months. As someone already said you don't need 1000s uniques a day. All it needs are a few good players who stick around

I'm not negative, I just wouldn't dream of coming to an affiliate forum and posting such a post as my first 'contribution' to a new forum. Craziness. World's gone mad. Back in my box I go.

To be honest the way you phrased the question and what it implies means that you may struggle to may money. Nobody is going to spoon feed you and in order to have any success you need to put in the hours, learn a lot and keep persevering (biggest mistake of a new affiliate is to give up too soon - it takes time to get things going).

There is still money to be made though - we start new revenue generating sites all the time which, experience aside, is a bit liking starting out for the first time.
onlinegamblingwebsites.com - Formally known as goodbonusguide.

Gambling Domains: Small clear out of some of the domains we've been hoarding - see the spreadsheet here.

Exactly. The way people ask things tells you a lot usually.

I'm quite new into this, but I'm making some income yet. I didn't ask too much questions, I just tried and errored quite a lot. Start a site, trash it totally, start it again, change some things, etc. Spending hours and hours in writing content, reading about the newest slots and when I asked things, it were usually quite detailled questions. I spend like a few months at my office from 7 o'clock in the morning 'till midnight.

I think if someone hasn't done any research himself and has to ask this sort of questions, it won't work...
