No linux/osx are prone to trojans etc, it's just there are many more being written currently for android.

I also think the press seems to sensationalize the android and pc trojans more.

It's because people think they can't get viruses on apple products. I have a friend who used to be a dev for apple and he said the reason there are less is because you have to actually agree for the trojan to run on apple. So basically if you get a virus/trojan on apple, you are an idiot.

If I was in the business of writing trojans, I would target apple users because they (mostly) don't think it's possible to get one so they wouldn't be expecting it.

I have iPhone & use mac computer.. and now I need to instal anti virus to check it... I hope not to find anything I wont like
