Default Do you use a cookie banner?

I've just moved to WP, still tweaking optimization and configuring some bits and pieces and there's one thing I am having an issue with - cookie banners.
I believe it is a good practice to have a well written cookies policy and to follow general GDPR guidelines regardless of the region you are servicing (because they do make sense after all). But I can't seem to find a good cookie banner plugin - I've tried several ones and stopped on the most popular one "GDPR Cookie Consent" 1,000,000+ active installations, but none of them seem to be fully doing what they are supposed to. Some things are blocked, but generally data is still being collected even before a visitors gives their consent.
So I was wondering whether somebody can recommend something here.

I don't use a cookie banner. But maybe I should. Have you been checking out Dinomatics free cookie plugin? Looks smooth.

I've used this one, seems to do the job but have to admit I haven't tested it intensively....

Yes, you could try the most popular one.

This plugin is convenient so you won't be disappointed, I hope.

You can specify a separate clause in the privacy policy. That some data is collected after all. I don't use separate banners on my projects.
