A couple weeks ago DanHorvat asked about using the event tracking feature in Google Analytics to track clicking on affiliate links as a goal in the following thread: Google Analytics events tracking.
Personally, I've thought doing that makes a lot of sense. We have generated page views for such clicks for a very long time (even before the event tracking feature was added), but we've never gotten around to using the actual event tracking feature of Google Analytics. Besides affiliate links, we've also tracked events like signing up for newsletters with our own home-brewed urls.
So, for this week's poll I figured I'd ask how many folks are using the events tracking feature, some more primitive method of tracking using Google Analytics, something separate from Google Analytics, or nothing at all.
