Do you visit casinos while traveling?

Hey guys. Surfing through the poll section i see that some of you do gamble online and offline. I wonder if you visit casinos when you are out for a trip abroad or to another city? If so, tell your story.


Mb there is an awful or posh casino you visited last summer? I travel to Italy preferably in winter and each time casinos are closed as there are no tourists :/
I'm curious if there are places really worth a visit or I should continue with cozy poker gatherings with friends :)

If I am abroad I generally pop into casinos and other gambling establishments for some sneaky pics for the sites and to play any different game variations. I don't generally bet a lot though, more for research. Unless I am going to Vegas, which is a different matter entirely.

Haha Vegas is like the whole world.
So according to your research, is there any place worth to visit? I personally also pay attention to what is visual appealing - the service, the interior etc.

Offline casinos of course the wonderful Monte Carlo casino has to be in the list of the people but just make sure to wear a proper suit to be allowed to enter

I usually do. So far I've played Blackjack in London, Prague, Malta, Tallinn, Rhodes, Montenegro, probably few more places. I play for fun, usually for a couple hundred €, and don't mind if I lose, although I like winning as much as the next guy.

Next year, I'll most likely be visiting Vegas for the first time. Goes without saying the budget for Vegas will be bigger.

I try to go if there´s one in the vicinity. Last one was actually surprisingly good. It was in Pecs, Hungary. I thought it would be a small gambling den but it was a Friday night, music was playing, and the vibe was great. It almost felt like a lounge bar or a bit of a club with about 60 percent guys and 40 percent women. I played a bit of Blackjack and some slots.

I have to admit, I've never seen a casino from the inside.
A decade back, I managed a brothel in Switzerland ... so while travel I checked the competition. To learn ofc.
I mean, its somehow the same - like to visit as a gambling marketing pro a casino. Isn't it?

Either I do not play if it is too late at night or when I play the best I do is to manage the risk like if I lose 10 percent of the initial I will stop and the same for in case I am winning. So, both the ways I am kind of tight with my risk management

I agree always place a limit and make sure to not cross the limit and this requires more self discipline though

Put only 500$ in your pocket, leave the credit cards home - and u can't lose more than that. Just a tip that crossed my mind ))
