Default Does a casino have to show proof of software ?

Hi again, I sure hope Im not being a pain in the butt of the good folks here at GPWA but a couple more thing have come to my attention and I am hesitating about putting these casinos on my new site ( which is not open yet )

As I was putting together my playtech casino listing, I did a search online for some that I may be missing. I found a few that belonged to the Main street Affiliate group and as I was viewing each of their casinos I noticed that none of them had the "playtech" logo posted on any of their websites. I also noticed that some games , like wall street fever and cinerama were different then the usual playtech casinos. I contacted live support and had the following conversation with Jude from casino support :

    chris: Hi jude

    Jude: hi

    Jude: welcome

chris: Im wondering what software Diamond deal casino is using?

Jude: can I get your username account, please?

    chris: no

chris: I asked you what software your casino was using

chris: My account number is not needed

Jude: with all your respect sir, I need your account to follow up your request

chris: you dont know what software your casinos are using without my account number?

chris: I dont have an account

    Jude: one moment please

    chris: Thank you

Jude: our software is provided by Playtech

chris: That what I thought, except your website has no playtech logo on it

chris: and some of your games are a bit different then other playtech casinos

chris: And I was pretty sure you had to post the playtech image on your website

Jude: well sir, I am not informed about that

chris: Ok, well thank you for your time, have a good night

    ___________________________________________

Now my question is, does a casino need to show proof of their software provider ?

There is another casino like this as well but I cant remember the name right now. It lady something or other. Where they have microgaming games but no microgaming logo on their site. Any comments would be appreciated.

    Thanks again guys and gals.

I don't see why they will have to show a proff of software. What they may need to do though is show that their software has been tested and proven to be fair.

Remember, no congressman in the USA has seen fit to drive the industry towards regulation so, of course, no rules exist about what to show on your site and what not to show.

Most will show everything as a matter of pride. Others believe that the more you show, the less focus there is on the games and the promotions. Those who hold the latter belief are likely to be very thin on information and yet they are licensed, have good and tested software, and so forth. Carrying on in this vein, some casinos don't even offer a games preview in an effort to keep their websites as uncomplicated as possible. They believe it helps with conversions.

Anyway, if there was a central point of control I am sure they wouldn't insist on a proof of software but rather on a proof of fairness of their Random Number Generator. The software will be revealed in that way of course.
    Have a wonderful day

I have deleted your duplicate message.

Although I have not worked with Mainstreet a lot, I have been increasing their exposure recently because they have shown a willingness to work with affiliates closely and help in any areas necessary to help increase conversions, and it does appear that I will be happy with my decision.

I do not know of any current payment issues withn either affiliates or players and they have a fairly good reputation. I'm sure many others here can also vouch for that as some have worked with them much longer.

All payments due have been honored and quite quickly too.

I also asked for some unique creatives a while back (maybe 8 months or so ago) and got it fairly quickly.

I mainly prefer slots.com although playtech in general are difficult to sell into a slots market.
