When launching a new website, how many articles should the site have? Obviously the static pages have to be there but what about the blog pages and seo articles? Once the site is live how many should be added each day? Thanks.

You should have as many pages of content as you do static as a minimum when new. (experience) Content articles should have 300-700 words and keyword rich but not spammish. Try and write your own content as pasted articles could be seen by the crawler as an attempt to spam. (and the guy that wrote won't be real happy either) Write information that people will want to read. New player instructions, how to play articles, strategy, infomation about each casino on your site, etc. PROOF READ till your head hurts! Go Daddy has an excellent analysis tool that scans your site and lets you know what you need. Google has the same but it seems your site has to be up for a decade before they gather any info on it. Don't forget your page titles, robots.txt file and site map.

Don't use my new site as an example. It stinks and I am currently reworking the whole thing. Look at some other sites and see how they do it.

When we first started our casino site, we mainly have only the welcome post on our official blog, however all the necessary static pages have been created and optimized. Now, we are updating the blog every other day. You can actually make frequent updates as long as you don't miss to promote each.
