Hello Everyone?
Wanted to know; does hosting affect the traffic you get?
For instance, if I hosted my site in the US but wanted to target the UK market, would this affect my traffic?
Thanks guy

Yes, hosting will have an impact on traffic. Why?
Because both users and Google like fast websites. And the speed of a website depends in part on the distance between the server (US webhost, for example) and the computer of the user who accesses this site (UK client).
But this is a problem that can easily be solved: First, several US hosts have servers in Britain and secondly, you can use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) as Cloud Flare.
That's what I suggest you do: use a CDN.

Definitely want quality hosting and a dedicated IP address is helpful ... you will get what you pay for. Agree with Mario The Gambler, use a CDN.

It's all about how fast is your hosting. If you are using shared hosting in UK which loads for 2 sec it's better to use VPS hosted in USA which loads for 1 sec or less than 1 sec. Its all about the speed (Time to first byte - TTFB).
