    Default Fiverr for SEO?

Does anyone use Fiverr for SEO? If you have not visited Fiverr, it's a site where people offer some type of service for $5, and there are loads of SEO 'gigs' there, such as ''I'll bookmark your URL to 40 social bookmarking sites for $5'' etc. But assuming you get what you pay for, I was wondering if anyone here has had good results from Fiverr?

I won't recommend Fiverr for SEO since I've used them before. In the long run it can do more harm than good to your website. Don't try and take shortcuts rather do the SEO yourself, or if you have a healthy budget hire someone who knows his stuff.

I'm skeptical of low cost SEO, I tried a few offshore services early on and they just spammed comments and forums.
Interested in quality, relevant link exchanges and deals, especially with UK sites.

The ole do it yourself approach is best imo - as you only have yourself to hold accountable. Not to mention how much you learn along the way in the process.... I also happen you believe you need a very healthy budget - otherwise IMO it would take a couple of years. Age seems to sometimes negate certain strategies.

Keep in mind its only my experience from my own trial and error.

Caution always should be apparent when using anyone else for SEO - basically I would trust no one. This industry does not allow for that ever!

Trust only yourself for SEO IMO

This is absolutely true. There is no easy way around SEO these days. Most importantly for extremely competitive keywords like the online casino industry.

I would not recommend that service for SEO. Concentrate more on getting relevant links from authority websites.

Fiverr is full of junk, but there are a few gems in there if you dig around. I've bought maybe $50 worth of stuff for various things.

It's also cool if you're after cheap and unique images, cartoons, videos etc... Where else can you get a photo of a girls boobs with your website written on it for $5! Or a rap song...

Hi, Fivver does have a few hidden gems. I have used country specific Directory Submissions (Australia) and have had Terms indexed in the top 10. I wouldn't use there content service as it is spun content which is spammy. All I can say about back links purchasing is that I wouldn't recommend it. You get what you pay for in Fivver!

I managed to net a few goodies from there, I did have to look quite hard for it however.

I can say that overall, I am happy with fiverr. I've done over 80 gigs, from making 30 second video spots to banners. About 80% I am satisfied with. Somethings are a hit or miss. Be careful when using the services. Look over the reviews, but with a grain of salt. Look for highest reputation. There are some good deals there. Also, if you find a supplier you like, just stick with them. For SEO, be cautious. Maybe a gig here or there, but dont go for high numbers. Diversify as always.

I agree with Yervan, there are a few jobs well worth the dough. I've had videos, flash intro videos and things like hiring a guy for $5 to open 40+ social media accounts which is a lot of work for $5. Avoid the SENuker's because they are using default modules and those are never good.

Just be smart about it. I have had 150+ jobs and have dozens currently.

I don't think "If it seems to good to be true" is 100% spot on here. There are people making less than $1 per hour or even $5 for a 12 hour day in many parts of the old. But you need to find them and sometimes this can be the most frustrating part.

There are many Fiverr-style sites and ODesk is good as well. A bit more money at times but great tracking and reference/feedback interface.

I have dozens of writers writing original content and posting to blogs, with optimisation as directed by my team, to a dozen sites in five languages.

I pay them an average of $10 per article. Again...well worth it.
