Driving web traffic or driving players

This is a controversial topic and was wondering what your are thoughts these days.

As an affiliate, do you generate web traffic or players to a casino website?

Of course.

What I meant is that affiliates most of the time are being asked for a number of players that their sites can deliver.

Some affiliates do not like this type of question as they prefer to keep their job as generating web traffic and is up to the casino to convert that.

My question is more on how affiliates feel these days with that question.

It has to be some of both. You can generate all the traffic you want but if you are getting them click through to a casino or poker room what is the point? I had a site that generated awesome traffic but I hardly got any new RMP's. When I start a site I now ask whether I am making the site to generate random traffic or generating traffic that converts. Both can be useful
