    Question Duplicated Content Problem in Wordpress

    Hi Guys

    Today i have found out in Google Webmasters that there are many notices for duplicated description and tiles for my pages. Let me give you examples:

    /desert-nights-casino /tag/desert-nights-casino-review

    /exciting-promotions-for-december-at-intertops-sportsbook /exciting-promotions-for-december-at-intertops-sportsbook?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campa ign=exciting-promotions-for-december-at-intertops-sportsbook

    /casino-luck /tag/casino-luck-review

    Can anyone help me with solving this issue ?

    Thanks a lot

    2 out of the 3 are not duplicated pages, they are different. You just need to change the title and description yourself so the dont match

    to no-index tag pages isn't the way to go, use:
    <link rel="canonical" href="http://your-url-here.com/any-page" /> and add that to each page head, within <head></head>. That way you will avoid duplicate content.

    Hi again

    By the way, in my "Platinum SEO" plug-in the "canonical URL's option is checked. Doet it make the same thing ? I mean instead of adding the code you have mentioned is it enough ?

    Thanks a lot

    In your wp admin -->Appearance --> Editor: Do you have "head.php" ? If so add it there. keep it to <link rel="canonical"> and it should do the trick, you might have to go through ftp to find the head.php

    I'm using Thesis theme on one site and there I have the option to use canonical urls, that option add the tag to all pages automagically.

    I did look at your casinorecommender site and the platinum plugin seems to add the tag:
    <link rel="canonical" href="http://casinorecommender.com/?attachment_id=321" />
    Not sure why it shows as attachment_id though.
