Duplicated Title problem in WP

I am using WP for my http://casinorecommender.com gambling portal. It is an awesome CMS platfOrm that automates too many tasks. But today when i was checking Google Webmaster Tools i see a warning of Duplicated Title. And duplication was caused between the main page and the archieve page that is automatically generated by WP for the prior posts. You can reach it from the main page by clicking "older enteies" link which is at the top-right hand side of the "Recent Casino Reviews" . The problem is that the title that is used for the main page automatically assigned for the older enteries. How can i change the title of older entries ? Thanks a lot

You can do this by editing your archieve.php file if you know bit of coding.

OR, Easy way to do this by installing Platinum SEO plugin , where you can customise all the title formats as well as Archieve titles. In your case "Recommend Online Casinos" would become the Page numbers, Or to whatever you choose in the plugin settings.

This becomes a problem the more posts you have. For example if you use tags or categories they will eventually run to more than one page and then you will have a duplicate title on the 2nd page, 3rd page also once you have more posts.

In WP the best way to deal with this is WordPress SEO by Yoast, it is easy to install. Once installed you can noindex and these types of pages, including archive but still follow - so google goes to them all but does not create dup content and titles. I use this on more than 200+ blogs.

Just one other thing - an easy way to check this is use a spider called screaming frog - it is free to use for up to 500 pages.

why do you need archive?
just disallow it in robots.txt
if you don't use categories as hub pages, do the same for them.
