ECHO/Intuit merger
Looks like a connection to Internet gambling payments is going to nix a merger between Electronic Clearing House and Intuit.
ECHO, which stopped allowing Internet gambling transactions in February of this year, agreed to a non-prosecution agreement with the US Attorney in the Southern District of New York (same US Attorney's office where the NETeller founders are charged) and will give up an estimated $2.3 million from profits from Internet gambling transactions.
