    Thumbs up mojo

This has been my own experience and may differ from other approaches from what other people use. I attempt to be your average web surfer and locate these sites my searching for them.

    I will submitt spam results based on my searches. So for the ones I found today are as follows;
    http://xww.google.com/search?as_q=&n...s=&safe=images

    "Free casino no deposit coupon"

Free casino no deposit couponfree casino no deposit coupon - casino. ... Free casino no deposit coupon. bay casino hotel mandalay resort · best online casino no deposit ...

I will take the domain and find the title it is operating under for the first one I find Free casino no deposit coupon.
Next I will google search "Free casino no deposit coupon" from here I can retrieve the search string, url, and page title. Then I will submitt to google as deceptive, doorway page ect...

Bare in mind this NOT the only one way of doing it. The benefit is I find Google responds fast. I just finished submitting these to google with the notation jagger and my own unique signature.

Now let's look at the ip from my tool box

    1035.cwtz.org/ ip is 74.52.77.31 ip for cwtz.org/ 74.52.77.31 the same. I will pull up the global whois on domain cwtz.org/ I get the following;

    Organization:Emitorra Ltda.
    Registrant Street1:Al. Santos, 2131, 13 andar

now the global whois on 1035.cwtz.org/ I find
nothing found, I could use some other tools. But in any case I know who they are and what they are doing. One way of protecting yourself is by looking at other sites for similiar stuff and blocking the ip before they have a chance to bomb your site.

But in any case mojo I have done two things. There is allot more to know but I am affraid this is all the time I have for today. Let's see what happens!

Yes it is Dom! Now I am waiting for greek to come back lol. Meanwhile I ran into another obstacle. I am having trouble blocking ips as greek and universal suggested because I use Front Page. I cannot use htaccess. There is another method and I am waiting to hear back from my particular host.

    Carry on.

I block IP's in the firewall, but the problem is, we need to know what IP the scrapers are using to do the actual scraping....If you're on a windows box and not behind a firewall, your host can probably block by IPSec.

They could easily be sitting on a simple road runner connection to do the bulk of the site scraping, and blocking their engines would be useless in that scenario.

Also, if they are scraping results direct from Google or other engines, then even if every webmaster out there blocked them, it wouldn't end what they are doing.

Mojo, sorry for the delayed response, technical problems. In any case let's address your last post first. My knowledge
regarding FrontPage is next to nill. However, reason tells me if you have login and password protection chances are good
there is a .htaccess file somewhere. If not they are readily avialable for download. Perhaps your server could provide you
    with one.

For now while we wait on Google let's press forward. I just finished checking Google for the domains in questions
1035.cwtz.org/ , 3556.ccidj.org/ , 105.djogcy.org/. All are still operating, perhaps a weekend Google delay. The good news I
    didn't find anymore.

    I decided we would focus on this domain in particular 1035.cwtz.org/ to make things simple we found out the following;
1035.cwtz.org/ ip is 74.52.77.31 ip for cwtz.org/ 74.52.77.31 the same. I will pull up the global whois on domain cwtz.org/ I
    get the following;
    Organization:Emitorra Ltda.

I am going to concentrate on the email address above, in particular lietgd.org. In doing a search on this domain I find
    mounds of info but will focus on this 3410.lietgd.org. Pulling up the global whois on lietgd.org I find the following;

    Organization:Emitorra Ltda.
    Registrant Street1:Al. Santos, 2131, 13 andar
    Registrant Street2:
    Registrant Street3:
    Registrant City:Sao Paulo

A match in every respect. The IP for lietgd.org is 74.52.77.22 not he same but within the IP range we are looking for.
BTW Mojo take a visit to 3410.lietgd.org Just copy and paste the URL into you address bar hit go. Next scroll down to the
bottom of the page hit Ctrl+a to view the hidden text. Plenty of guidelines violations here, scraped material, hidden text
and so on. But what is interesting there are active links, begs to questions are these the culprits?
In any case, the server operational IP range is 74.52.0.0.0 - 74.52.255.255. The range belongs to a well respected server
company called "The Planet". Take a visit and review their legal section. Quickly you will find they are in violation of
their own legal disclaimer and in violation of the major SE guidelines. I beleive they have a legal obligation to take swift
and appropiate action against these domains as listed.

Hence the second course of action. I will be submitting today a modest 1000 domains to the The Planet requesting a review and
removal of the domains in question. Along with my request I will provide proof as well. I beleive The Planet has the legal
obligation to take swift action based on the information I will provide.
So what is going on here? A partial answer would be many people are setting up real domains with real sites to get indexed.
Once indexed they will 404 their real site and set up thousands of subdomains. This provides them with perfect venue to bowl
and scrape thousands of sites. I would rather not inform what else they do because I don't want anybody getting any dirty
    ideas.

I hope this has helped just a little Mojo. I certainly appreciate you efforts on your site in regards the BH seo. I will be
following suite giving you credit for coming up with the idea. Should be up this week.

Dominique to a certain degree I agree, many programs do in fact pay and support this practice. But what they fail too realize is one day, without notice, they will get pulled. If not, the very SE guidelines we are expected to follow would be null and void.

What answers would Google provide in shutting down other sites while leaving other sites alone who use dirty practices. I don't beleive Google would like to create up a double standard. For example, about two weeks ago BMW Motor Cars was pulled from the index for having excessive doorway pages. I can think of a few programs that have done the same thing, but some how are getting away with it. I am confident you know the program. A matter of time before Google slaps them down.

Creating these double standards could also be very damaging to Google's bottom line. Not only are they violating there own guidelines, but it seems quite plausible lawsuites could follow. We have seen this happen before.

In any case, I think the unethical practices of some programs could possibly get them delisted. We have also seen this happen as well.

As far as front page and an htaccess....

If the site is served on Apache on Linux, it will use an htaccess file to control the permissions. If it is served by IIS on a windows box, the permissions are controlled by the windows ACL (access control list) which is actually controlled by the front page extension manager.(which is scripted through CPanel or Helm if installed)

For those hosting clients hosted on servers that do not offer an htaccess file, the best thing to do is contact your host and ask what kind of ip blocking they allow and support.

    Hi greek,

No worries on the delay, any time you can muster is more than appriciated. I have the same problem with the day job getting in the way. This eve I look forward to shutting off the phone and studying what you are saying. Thank you greek. Knowledge is power!

I also need to resolve the htaccess problem. Thanks to you guys for your help there.

    See you soon!

    The ip is 74.52.31.150

Using the email eicjcm.org I got this:

    Organization:Brain Maniacs
    Registrant Street1:Al. Andreas, 543
    Registrant Street2:
    Registrant Street3:
    Registrant City:Rio de Janeiro

    Match! Ip is 74.52.31.148

Now I went to the server and it's The Planet also. The IP range is 74.52.0.0 - 74.52.255.255.

Wow! The Planet has a problem to put it mildly. I read the legal terms there and I foresee big troubles for them if they don't act. Ok, next question. What is the proper way to report it? I'm not sure I know what you mean when you will submit 1000 to them. Can one submit the whole range? Do you submit to to google the same way? So many questions lol.

Fasinating greek. So much to learn!

    Mo,

The legal terms on the planet's website at www.theplanet.com/legal/copyright.html are taken from the digital millenium copyright act, and so are not actually specific to the planet. They apply to all web hosts within the United States. When I find someone infringing Casino City material, if I determine that the host is based in the United States, then after that it is normally a straightforward process to get the problem fixed. I've often gotten material removed by the ISP within a couple days. If the ISP is not in the US, well, that's an entirely different story.

I have been searching international isp which brought me to Internet Governance. Interesting, but that will surely make your head hurt lol. I am continuing to read up. Thank you Michael for pointing that out.

universal, I wanted to pass on that I heard back from my host regarding blocking ips:

"nodepositmojo.com is on one of our new Windows Servers, that uses the new Control Panel, and Frontpage Administration features are disabled on this system. We can block IP's for this site, via IIS, at your request; but I'm afraid that you don't have access to do this yourself for that account."

I am not happy with that but changing hosts now would be costly. I will have to consider this some. May be something good to know and ask about for anyone who is shopping for a host.

Thanks again greek! I know alot of folks already know this stuff but alot of us don't. I'm sure even to the savvy it can be mind boggling. I look forward to seeing you again soon!

    Best Regards,
    Mojo

Mojo the sites in question have been removed from the Google index. Took a little longer than I expected. However, there are new ones, but don't let this bother you too much. I currently have 10,000 bowling and scraping my sites. I usually wait until they build up then take action.

Bare in mind this is only one of several techniques used. Being a webmaster is great and requires some hard work. I would encourage you to learn the flip side, on how to protect your site.

Right now google manually removes some of the culprits, yes. They cleaned me up nicely when I was being google bowled a couple months back.

Personally I have no doubt that eventually google will launch a new algo that will kick all the current trash out.

And then we will live happily ever after - NOT!

And then the blackhatters will roll out new techniques and places such as Casino Pays will rub their hands together delightedly and pay those guys a few million to rake in twice that much.

And a number of decent webmasters who still work for Casino Pays will be funding the whole thing.

If we don't manage to motivate programs to stick with decent webmasters and drop the Black Hatters, we will never see any improvement.

I couldn't agree more Dominique. I know google will be lauching a new jagger shortly and should clean up some of the mess, but the problem will continue.

Programs such as cpays really do need some convincing. Cpays has aligned themselves with some pretty nasty characters.

I do not differentiate between BH seo and malicious hacking. This point I can prove and for a program to be grouped in this category should send a clear message.

Maybe a strong alliance with all white hat webmasters would do the trick.

I see alot of webmasters with some great ideas. I don't use cpays or 888, Webmasters, what are some thoughts?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

Dom, I see a very interesting thread over at CAP concering Casino Pays. greek and others have dug deep and there are new developements apparently showing Cpays working together with black hat seo. For those interested the link is:

    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...ne.14291.html?

I will be following this thread. Great job!
