Default Norway coming with browser ban on online gambling.

Norway will soon be having similar to Greece, types of browser ban to keep visitors from entering foreign gambling sites, making the users not able to access. In Greece I could enter into microgaming casinos with no problem, but sites like Betsson were not allowed to access. This will probably be shown in about 6 months.

That is the type of regulation US states should be testing. I don't know how they do it with internet ips, routers and such, but it can be done.

The first part of the ip check is simply grab the public ip from the browser, do a lookup on the IP, check it against a list of allowed or excluded subnets and then take action based on that result.

That is a simplified and flawed example, and there are many ways to circumvent a portion of that, such as VPN's etc, but may well be a portion of what they start with.

Do you have any proof of this? A link perhaps? I would like to read it about it...

No really! Make it as difficult as possible for gamblers to bet, when it is not allowed in your state, right?
