    Lightbulb Extreme differences in conversions

    Hello,
I have casino websites, and member at some affiliates programs where i can see impressions (not only clicks and deposits)
At 777 i get allot of clicks but hardly any conversions, and at other program i have conversions, but the weird thing is: I put the banners in the same days and for same audience.
And some of the banners with tracking code of websites that doesn't exist - I see reports that people clicked them...
I know personally the workers and they aren't cheating me, but i think maybe there are some bots that click on these ads and automatically return to them every X days?
Also other aff program with huge impressions, and clicks and no conversions, but i don't know them so i don't know if that's real

The affiliate program of primepartners, deliver conversions in very high precentage, maybe their banners are "robots free" or something like that?
Because from the reports it seems that some days more than 100 people clicked on 777 banners/games and no one play or maybe 1 played free, and in prime partners very small number of clicks per day but can be 1 out of 10 people clicked that make deposit.
I know the games at 777, they're really cool, also the games at primepartners casinos, so i must find some tool to measure what's really going on, maybe you guys have some explenations for this and can tell me how to check that?
    Thanks!
*I've went to forum affiliate tracking etc. But saw there is 0 posts and no activity so i hope it's fine i post here

I also have really drastic differences in conversions between brands, imo this is normal. FYI, For me prime partners have poor conversion

Very good question in this poll, click to player is one of the most important data when it comes to conversion rates.
However, there is a big difference in the way each program count clicks
So I usually do the average of my data and the affiliate program data, this helps to better understand
each program behavior when it comes to traffic and the results are amazing !

Some programs are not even providing the clicks which is not good... I would avoid associating with such programs unless its a big company as 888 or any other in this scale.

    Thanks for the poll

In my opinion there is no excuse not to provide click data.

Anyway, (normal) conversions according to the (math) "law of large numbers" as games of chance in casinos. You can find 4 new depositing players within 16 clicks, following a lengthy dry spell with 160 clicks without any success. As more clicks you have in the long run as more stable are the averaged values, and you can calculate the true (!) value of the program(s).

200 or 300 clicks are only just a blink of the eye. Thinking with gambling in any way (player or webmaster) is a combination of wide awake, logical intelligence on one side, and of deep intuition on the other.

Speaking of 888, how does one know then whether a signup has occured? Only if it actually starts generating revenue?

The answer is .. it depends.

If you are sending specific traffic that you have informed about the target site (from a review) then the click to registration ratio can be something like 25 clicks = 1 registration. If you are just relying on banner ads, and/or sending free play traffic then you can easily jump to 100+ clicks -> registration.

Turning that registration to a deposit is a different matter as that depends on how well you matched the target site to the customer, and how well tuned the target site is to obtaining signups from that customers country. On average about 1 in 3 registrations turns into a depositor for us but the best are 1 in 2 and the worst produce 1 in 5.

    So our numbers range from (best) 60 clicks -> 2/3 Registration -> 1 depositor to (worst) 500 clicks -> 5 registration -> 1 depositor.

Note that the "worst performer" is probably so because they get a lot of "free play" traffic, but overall when they do get a depositor they rate well for getting good value and overall are our #2 destination in terms of monthly value. So be careful about just measuring one metric and thinking that is is the best way to earnings.

Your skill as an affiliate is to best match correct advertising to visitor, and inform your visitor about the target so that clicks turn into deposits.

Share the same fate but since 2012... ho yeah ! it looks like somebody is working hard to get those players & affiliates...

Gold sponsors or not, I also promote them using reviews across my sites for few years now , their conversions is the worst !

They present "Money Players" in a separate field no need to check revenue is this value is positive.

TIP: I wouldn't work with the online stats - they are awful! they didn't updated their affiliate stats system for many years... almost 5 years I think...
You should download the stats to excel if you want to understand anything

I think they made some backend changes and you can see clicks now for 888 banners as long as you don't host the banners yourself, I thought you could always see sign ups under leads (from memory, I haven't logged in for a while)

We've experienced the same thing with 777. Last year, we had 7676 clicks and
only brought in 2 free players. We ended up removing them from our sites, due
to the lack of conversion. Now that they aren't listed, we've still gotten 200
clicks for them this month, so there is obviously a glitch somewhere.

This is one of the worst click to depositor conversions rate i've ever heard of, but not worst as Slotland casino,
their conversion is counted by years and not clicks - its 5 years to 1 real depositor

it was a true cause for celebration last year was the year !

it depends on the quality of the visitor.

I have sites which can get 10 new depositors with 150 clicks, others will have zero new depositors for the same number of clicks.
