I've just had a reply from facebook and they have stated that if I remove all links to gambling websites from my page then they will republish it. I'll let you know if this ever happens!

Do you have a gambling website or just the Facebook page? You see, I have a website called www.onlineplayerassociation.com and a Facebook page for the site. All my links go direct to my website and from there people can click on affiliate links. If you just have a Facebook page and you remove and affiliate links then the page is rendered useless.

Originally I was just based on social media with facebook and twitter but since my facebook page was unpublished I basically taught myself how to make a website these past few weeks and put together www.footballbetprofit.com

It's very much a work in progress but it would be great if I could get the facebook page back up and running so I could start linking to it from there.

Although my page was re-published, I have just received this message from Facebook. This might help anyone else who needs help in these matters.

"Hi David,
Thanks for writing back.
Advertising of gambling websites on a link provided on the Facebook page is a violation of our policies. Please ensure that there are no such links in the about section of your page or in any of the page posts .
Facebook gambling pages must have all the gambling licenses of the specific country.
Alternatively, you can delete all the gambling posts on the page and abide by the guidelines of Facebook, to keep the page active. Please note, advertising of gambling websites on a link provided on the Facebook page is also in violation of our policies.
Presence of gambling advertisements on your websites which are mentioned on the Facebook page is in violation of our guidelines. Hence your page was unpublished.
We are enforcing our policies globally. And soon all the pages in violation of our policies will be pulled down.

Basically, if you have a gambling page on Facebook make sure your affiliate links on not on the page. Direct all Facebook traffic to your website.

My guess is that eventually they will step in and say, linking to a site about gambling is promoting a gambling site on facebook.

They are not defining a gambling site as an "operator", they are clearly stating "Please note, advertising of gambling websites on a link provided on the Facebook page is also in violation of our policies."

It is likely only a matter of time.

Super useful thread, as we recently launched a site (oddsfc), and have started a Facebook page that is incognito (i.e. it's not oddsfc on FB). Our plan is to bring traffic from FB eventually to the site, without the promotion of any gambling sites/affiliate links on facebook itself. From everything I have read above, this should be ok (having a FB page with videos etc, then redirecting traffic with a post containing a Betting Tip redirect or something along those lines). Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

Bringing traffic to your site from facebook WOULD BE promoting your gambling site at facebook.

....unless your oddsfc site is not about gambling....

If you can solve the issues for your facebook page hten you can republish your page.

Few months ago had the same problem, but after 2-3 weeks of sending the emails they finally allow me to republish the page.

Just came across this thread, had same issue as others in this thread. My facebook page of 8 years was unpublished in December. Tried the appeal process, updated my page to be 18+, and just kept getting the same copy/paste responses from this thread, usually after 7-14 days. Page is still unpublished and shows this at the top:

Your page has been unpublished
Promote or facilitate online gambling, games of skill or lotteries, including online casino, sports books, bingo or poker, unless the Page has obtained prior authorization from Facebook.

Now I'm trying what Erogenous has suggested and will re-appeal again. Hoping for better results. Thanks for the advice.

Does anyone here have any tips on contacting Facebook? When my page was unpublished on Dec 8, I appealed immediately and heard back on Dec 11 the same copy/paste reply others have mentioned here. Since then I've made more changes and have contacted them 4 more times. Yet they never reply and my page remains unpublished.

It's been 7 weeks and they just won't reply to me. Anyone know how to get their attention?

It's strange, because when I have a page about gambling (casinos, poker) I have the same problem, but wirh binary/forex (which is almost the same) it's OK.

Last year my gambling FB page was blocked as well, but after I changed the audience restrictions (age: 21+ , disallowed countries where gambling was restricted) and after a few emails to FB team explaining that my page is not violenting any of the rules from their Terms & Conditions, they reactivated my page. So, try to speak with FB team and fix everythings. Good luck!

I have been trying. I've made many changes as well, but they've been ignoring all of my messages for 8 weeks now. I've tried both replying to the email and filing more appeals on the page. It's hard to get my page back when they won't reply.

This is pretty much what I did. Change a few things around, age restrictions and no affiliate links on FB page. Just point to your URL from FB.

Been a total of 10 weeks now with 6 emails and appeals. Facebook won't reply to any of my attempts to contact. Today I tried a few alternate contact methods but certainly won't get my hopes up.

I'm pretty much settling on the fact that I have to give up and my page with 10k likes and 8 years is gone. Ridiculous. It just chaps my ass that they won't reply to any of my appeals or emails, when others here have reported them being fairly decent with communication.
