Thing is this inconvenience was caused in the name of the "payments were always late, we r switching so they are never late". Looks like "we are switching to stop paying a 3rd party" to me.

Cheers for the info, nothing received at this end informing me of this.

Was sent around the Holidays in December. One would assume it was for everyone, as it was a major change.

Just checked back in my emails and can't find anything. It is a Hotmail account though and sometimes things can be totally filtered out/blocked without even going in junk.

Just more clarity on Skybet: bank refused the previous payment on 20th Jan, because of wrong beneficiary. On 26th Shaun McSorley via affiliatehub[at]skybettingandgaming.com told me to update my payment preferences. They were 100% accurate, so I did just a cosmetic adjustment, because in this kind of conversation there is no point to argue with logic. They know they did something wrong and want to blame us. If I accept the blame next payment will be probably ok. It is not ok behaviour, but it is better to be submissive here IMO and focus on something else.

On 14th Feb I got email that money is on the way and obviously it is an amount for 2 months. I do not have my bank security token with me so I can not verify the payment, but I guess it went through, otherwise my banker would email me again.

This was the email sent for anyone who didn't get it

This is to notify you that your affiliate account under the username xxx will be receiving a payment of £xxx (currency conversion may apply) via moneybookers from the SkyBet merchant. We are aiming to have payments processed pre-Christmas.
From January, all affiliate payments will be handled by our own finance team. This will hopefully create a much quicker payment process for you and will put an end to the delays many of you have experienced in the last few months. To assist with the change, we do require you to set your payment method as either UK BACs transfer or Electronic transfer. For those currently receiving USD payments please note this in the “additional info” box at the bottom of the payment method page to continue receiving funds in this currency.
The payment method page can be located by logging in to your account and clicking My Account on the left hand menu bar, then Affiliate Payment Preferences.
To be clear, from now on, we will no longer be offering any other payment type including ewallets, or UCH-USD. That means if you do not change your payment method then your commission will roll over until we have the correct details.
I recognise that for some affiliates, ewallets were a useful way to receive funds due to the low £20 threshold they offer. So, for that reason we will be reducing the threshold for a transfer to the same figure, hopefully meaning payments can continue as normal.
If you’re payment method is currently set as UK BACs transfer or Electronic transfer, there’s no need to do anything to your account.
Should you have any questions about this change, please get in touch.
Ironically, since then both payments have been later than they were under the old system. Received this months on Monday.

My guess is this: They only sent out that email to people who were receiving a payment that particular month. As my Skybet payments are not regular I probably didn't get one that month, therefore missing the announcement altogether. Good work Skybet.

Its amazing how these programs (Skybet, Betfair, Betfred) almost send you an email a day with info about new promotions they like you to promote- but when it comes to payment it seems like one of their employee do this in spare time/free hours efter the 2oth of every month when he feels like it.. every month you have to chase payment down from one or two of these programs..

Regarding Sky Bet I do remember the letter as this is why I changed it over. The problem I had was that the new details did not save as I was inputting the password wrong in the payment section even though it was not prompting me that the password was incorrect. My payment details are now as they should be but of course I now have to wait until next month for the payment. Does seem that others have had the same problem though.

Finally paid today by Betfair into Skrill. Also had a nice surprise that Skrill now charge 7.5% for withdrawals. Last time I use them!

I withdraw to bank account and it's a flat fee of about £4.50.
    From Skrill site:

We apply different fees depending on the method used to withdraw funds, but we always keep fees low:

    • Skrill Card* ATM withdrawals cost 1.75%.
    • Bank withdrawals to primary bank accounts cost €5.50.
    • Bank withdrawals to secondary bank accounts may cost up to €5.50.
    • •Credit/debit card withdrawals cost 7.5%
