Default Final Debate - Did you watch?

Yep, I watched, and it was a "debate" whether I would since it was on during one of my favorite shows - Jurassic Fight Club. And, it was far more entertaining than the others as well. Forget the baseball game, it wasn't worth watching!

Is a Presidential Debate supposed to be entertaining? I think so, since the idea is to put people in their "comfort zone" where they are more likely to remember what is said, and to be more engaged.

I actually ended up watching it more than once, in bits and pieces on a variety of networks, from CNN to MSNBC to CSPAN, all of which I watch at some point during the day.

I'm really interested in what non-US members may thing about the coming US elections.

I watched it in bits and pieces because the debate starts at 3 am German time. I think this was the best of the three debates and it proved once more that Obama's cool attitude has been the winner. However, one must admit that the economic situation in the USA is a severe handicap for McCain. I sincerely hope that McCain loses, otherwise a vice president Palin would become a global nightmare - for at least 4 years, if not more.

As I've stated at other places, just the thought of her might having to step in to run the country scares the crap out of me.....
