As stated in the topic iam a fairly new affiliate. I would appreciate if you guys could review my german speaking Website http://www.casinoechtgeld.net/ . The focus is on real money gambling. I think the layout is pretty clean. You guys have suggestions what to improve beside adding more content?

Hey T-Bone, welcome to the forum, you've found the right place for advice and assistance...

I was surprised when I first loaded your site as it didn't look like a traditional gaming review site. First impressions was that it was a mistake to have your pages like this but actually I think there are ways in which it can be used to your benefit - you can make a virtue of the fact that it looks different.

I'm no webmaster so I'm better off advising you on the customer-perspective and user journey.

• I think your site looks like a news page with its dark text and white background so why not pursue this theme and 'look'?

• I think your font choice and line spacing is nice and read-able but I would make the body text black an not the grey that you have used.

• I think your page header is under-used and could stand to be a little larger with a more imposing and distinctive logo to draw the eye in when the page first loads to establish itself in the eye of the reader.

• There's a lot of text to read through but that may even suit a certain niche of customer but please make it easy for me... I need to know if and why I should read this page - maybe bullet point your findings on each brand towards the top of the page or use Pull Quotes to emphasise certain aspects of your review... Give me more of a reason to stay and read your page.

• If you can I would loose the stock images of roulette wheels etc and replace them either with a simple brand logo or, if possible, a graphic representation of the strengths of each aspect of that brand like a score out of 10, comparison graph etc - but keep it plain, sober and simple if you want to pursue a 'newspaper' style.

• Use graphics to support your findings; not compete with them - for example, when listing payment methods accepted at a casino, a small, discreet logo for each allows me to 'absorb' and understand the review more quickly and with greater satisfaction, much as you have done in your page footers.

• Be more conclusive in your findings - I need more of a Call To Action, What do you want me to DO after reading your page? If you pursue a newspaper style then give me an honest and reasonable opinion. Don't be hysterical and caffeine-crazy but also don't be afraid to have an opinion and express it because after all...

• I want your help!... Why am I on your page? I have first googled casino-related keywords and then found you in the SERPs.... I want to play online casino, I've come this far so what is stopping me? I want you to help me make up my mind, so help me.... not only with which brand to play but also whether to play at all!

So that's my opinion. I hope that it doesn't sound critical at all because I want to give you every encouragement and if people disagree with me, well that's OK too - It's good to be different.

For me there's to much text on your home page. As Anthony said, add at least a few bullet points and bigger pictures. I would also suggest increasing the size of your logo and maybe adding some colour to it to make it more visible and easier to remember. And don't forget about social media - let your readers share the information found on your website

I can agree that there is too much text in the homepage or let´s say not too much text but not presented in the best way. The user should always know whithin seconds what he can find on your website. I would also shorten the links to the operators. Try to give short and clear information like "For ... click here" Also try to make "buttons" so that there is a clear call to action. The visitor should see OK here is something to click on. Maybe you can also integrate some more images. A combination of images and text makes it much more interesting to read and click through your website. If you have the option then integrate a blog section where you can post news. This would be additional quality content and you can share it through social media channels.

Definitely too much text. it makes the website looks like blog than a professional site. maybe put only the headings which after clicking on them will transport you to the subpage. make the headings more visible (bold or bigger font) and add some colour to the general view
