Wow - I have no idea what that is; this is the first I've ever heard of something like this.

You *should* be able to remove it by going into your Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs, and it should be listed there - just click to remove.

But I'd sure like to know what this is and how you got it!!!

    Footzoul,

Did you recently install any software from any of the properties??

When did you suddenly start noticing this toolbar...

Was it seen the first reboot after installing software from one of Casino rewards Poperties?

Do you only see it at a Casino Rewards poperty, or is it present all the time now?

If you right click on the toolbar section, is it listed in the toolbar list with a checkmark beside it?

And if so, if you uncheck the checkmark does it go away?

Sorry for so many questions, but we are intested in how the toolbar got there as well as helping you get rid of it if you choose not to have this little (POS) Piece of software on your computer.

did you have more than one window open when you unchecked the checkmark?

If you did, close all windows. open one window and remove the checkbox.

    Close the window.

open a new window and see if the checkmark stayed unchecked and the toolbar gone.

    Yes,

and also, if that doesn't seem to work, try it again the way Techwoman suggested, only be sure to cloes Explorer with the file pull down instead of cicking on the x.
(even though the settings usually save otherwise)

When you right click and see the toolbar listed, (with or without the check mark) what is it called?

I just did a search on everything I could think of as well as the casinorewardsexplorertoolbar. I came up with nothing.

But there are many companies that you can get scripts for customized toolbars with whatever comany name you want.

It's possible that there is a webmaster that has a auto install script for such a tool bar or casino rewards is getting into bad stuff and doing it.

I wonder if it's worth doing a search of your hard drive for casinorewardsexplorertoolbar and seeing if you can find the installer program. It may lead us to what or whom put the program in there

I figure I already know where the download is.

    Windows/Downloaded Program Files/

Or...it was embedded in the Golden Tiger download.

If it is in the windows folder....the properties of the control may give us an indication of the source.

    I hope so

I always feel so helpless when I can't view the hard drive myself.

You know how it is, you just know where to go by habbit when you are working on something.

I do help many by phone, but I am always on my computer going through the motions with the person I'm helping

Please go to http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/ and see if it is listed in the parasite test.

You may have another parasite that is installing stuff at will.

Have you tried running something like spybot to see if anything else has been installed?
