Well if you are looking for a link directory to post links free, you should do some research on why posting links to free directories is not a good direction to go. (plenty of threads here at the GPWA that covers this)

If you are looking for a good place to learn more about SEO as it pertains to the gambling industry, YOUR THERE.

There is no other place on the internet with more gambling seo information then is contained here at the GPWA, you just have to spend the time reading through it.

If you have the opportunity to use services like Ahrefs, just analyze the reference profile of your direct competitors. There you can find answers to your question and even more.

There are no that much directories that will not harm your site, and all of them paid. You could find some decent $10 directories if you'll google them.

Before posting on directory sites, you have to consider the following points...

Check the directory site status like panalyse or malacious
List your webiste in the right catogery (E.g Blog, Internet, Jewelery, fashion and WordPress)
Add your title and description with all keywords which related to your website
Don’t spam like do not add more than one site
Read the attention line before submiting the website
Check the DA and Alexa rank before the submit sites

Firing up the list of directory postings done either manually or being done by most seo companies that "claim" they work, especially those that use automated software to perform such submissions is not only old school circa year 2000 stuff, but as a few others have posted over the years will often do more damage to a site then a small number of non directory real links from real websites then hundreds of links from directories.

Having a "very few" directory links as part of an overall link portfolio of links from various sources may not hurt and help keep the links profile diversified, but just posting in directories because they are free or because some seo company will do them for a low cost, be wary.

Just because an seo might have a few clients with jewelry or fashion sites, does not mean they have a really good handle on this industry, BUT the GPWA Members that have been here for many years do, as their continued success shows their experience and longevity.
