After losing the first two games and facing game 7 in Detroit I thought the series would end in 5... I'm glad I was wrong! Congrats Pittsburgh!

I originally predicted Pens in 6 or 7 games due to their experience from last year and their hunger to win a cup but I never expected a series like this at all. Detroit looked good for most of the series and for Pittsburgh to win in Detroit on game 7 says a lot, wow!

I recall the chat we had John and you and I both agreed on the Pens in 7. It was a whale of a game last night for sure. I hoisted many toasts to the Pens.

    Here is the highlight reel:

It was a tough series, but since game 3 the wings looked old and a step behind on everything.

It was a great series for the Goalies.

Unfortunately Sidney Crosby was too much of as a-hole to actually shake hands with the Detroit captain, Nick Lidstrom. I guess it was a great contrast between a young, classless, crybaby, vs. a veteran who not only is one of the greatest Defensemen ever, but always a class act.

I read that AP story too, he did make it to the handshake line, albeit late and there are photos of him shaking Ozzies hand. He was so caught up in the moment and celebration that he was delayed in taking the proper, sportsmanship stance (being the team captain) and getting his tail in the line. I can't defend the fact he was late.

Perhaps age and experience will dictate next time and he gets in the line on time. I really do not think it was an intentional act of being an a-hole. Where did the crybaby thing come out? I never saw any of that behavior during the playoffs.
