    Default Gambling 911

On 11/11/2003 a second false, and misleading article was printed by Gambling 911.

The article states that they spoke to the GPWA manager, and a law suit was threatened in regards to a previously published picture of him.

For the record, The manager of the GPWA never contacted Gambling 911 in regards to any matter, nor was he contacted by them.

The picture mentioned does not belong to him, as was also falsely reported.

Misuse of another's property, and repeatedly printing false information in a commercial publication is indeed a serious issue.
Irresponsible reporting detracts from the credibility, and the quality information the site does have to offer.

Although the matter is a concern to the general membership, no action was threatened, or is anticipated at this time.

To follow on from the gambling911.com thread, I'd like to ask if you guys have read this: http://www.gambling911.com/carley-stalin.html

My main interest in this is the following paragraphs:

As to incorporation - GPWA is legally owned as a sole proprietorship, and the use of the word "association" is correct as defined by the dictionary. Some outside claim we're not legal because we're not incorporated, quoting
the US Tax Code as law, and I think some in here believe them. The truth is that the US Tax Code does not dictate how one takes ownership of anything; it only dictates how tax laws will apply to the form of ownership that's chosen. A choice it is, and my choice it is, as the owner.
    >
As to Revenue produced here - I created GPWA, I created all the systems that keep it running, I've done the sales and continue to do them, and I've done 95% of the work here for 2 and half years. I believe I'm
entitled to whatever revenue is generated from here at this point and that it's solely my choice what to do with it. At the current time, most of it's going for the manager and expenses, but I may be making additional
sales in the future. I think I've proven at this point that I'm not going to sell advertising to any questionable businesses, and that will remain that way, but I won't be accounting to anyone for the revenue taken in here.
What I'd like to have confirmation on is this:

    a) Is the GPWA still not a registered association?

    b) Is the GPWA officialy in the sole ownership of Cynthia Carley?

    Thanks.

That answers the first question but not the second. When I left the GPWA it was in the hands of a single member (not Cindy) and the membership as a whole was reorganising.

Obviously a lot has happened since then, so I'll ask my question again.

    b) Is the GPWA officialy in the sole ownership of Cynthia Carley?

    Simple yes or no please.
