    Default Gambling licence for affiliates

Hi all, I'm in the process of researching setting up a gambling affiliate site but can't decide if I need to pay for UK based gambling licenses, any constructive advice would be gratefully received.

    Thanks.

Not if you're just an affiliate, no - only operators need licences in the UK.

There are some rules laid down by the UKGC and the ASA regarding best practices for affiliates, but to be honest they're largely ignored by most:

    - Only promote brands licensed in the UK or a UK white listed jurisdiction
    - Display links to gamcare and/or gambleaware
    - Display the 18+ logo or the text '18+'
onlinegamblingwebsites.com - Formally known as goodbonusguide.
