Default Gambling Licence: Do I really need it?

    Hi All!

I am new to this forum and the future webmaster of my upcoming betting exchange called - It will be something never seen before!

I actually hoped I didn't need a gambling licence, since a betting exchange is not financially involved in any bets, but only acts as the broker between clients. Unfortunately moneybookers, which I consider as my transaction service has informed me I need a gambling licence for them to accept me as a verified merchant.

I would like some advice on how to obtain a gambling licence.
Until my website starts generating revenue I don't have a lot of money to spend, so I am looking for the cheapest possible solution. will be hosted offshore, and the off-shore placement will depend partly on the gambling licence solution...

    All help is appreciated.

None of us here are qualified to give you any answers. The best thing you can do is to find an attorney in your area that specializes in gaming law. Good luck.
