Default Gambling Whale = serious spammer

For some time now I have been trying to remove myself from the lists of someone calling themselves Gambling Whale - despite numerous requests to stop spamming me in the past week he/she has spammed me with

    Sci Fi Casino
7 Sultans - no less than 4 times
    Mummys Gold

plus numerous other pieces of spam in the past. He has a REALLY old RtG list at a guess and his unsubscribe doesnt work

I would forward the mails onto WagerShare and Fortune Affiliates and get them to reign this guy's spam in.

Would it be possible to give us a peak at the properties of the spam. Protect your indentity of course, I am curious. Most of these spam emails few aff managers can understand or they do but ignore.

I usually rely on strictly IP addresses providing they are not spoofed. This one looks legit. This is for Gamblingwhale.xxx

I had forgot too mention the IP is correct. The email mariposa7430@hotmail.xxx is bogus. I did run a check on other possible emails and came up with the following:

    Validation results
    confidence rating: 3 - SMTP
The email address passed this level of validation
without an error. However, it is not guaranteed to be
    a good address. more info
    canonical address: <david@gamblingwhale.xxx>

The SMTP is good meaning, syntax is good, domain does exist, domain has a working email, and the mail server did not reject the email address.
This email has a pretty good confidence rating based on the SMTP result.

I ran a email tracker on the above email and it returned with the following:
    mail.gamblingwhale.xxx IP 66.98.144.197 status Apache/2.0.52 (redhat)

    Some food for thought.

Hi Greek sorry to hear you arent feeling too good

Im contacting managers to see if we can nail this spammer, although someone was saying that the details do not match any affiliate accounts - could this be some sort of media buy?
At the moment he/she is spamming

    Casino Rewards
We also have South Beach Bingo
    Breakaway
    Mummys Gold
    Slots Village
    All the Fortune Lounge Casinos

Ive deleted some of his mails by accident but if anyone can add to this list please let me know

    Still working on it

Could very well be a media buy. The part confusing me a little without going deeper is the domain. When typed into my address bar I am directed to xxx.blackjackballroom/feferal.asp?_id=aff19561 . The last I heard Casino Rewards was having some difficulties tracking this fellow down. They always take swift action against spammers.

Confusing because either the domain is wrong or this person is a affiliate Casino Rewards and some others. I do have one other domain that I have not looked at yet

However I believe gamblingwhale.xxx, IP and server is correct. The contact email mariposa7430@hotmail.xxxd address is bogus.

Contacting some of the aff managers could prove to be worthwhile approach. Another approach would be to post more emails. Just the bare essentials in order to find common elements in all of them. Essentials such as IP's, servers and return email addresses this person is operating under.

In any case feeling a little better. Just have to cut down on PC time and get out a little more. Good advice given to me by many friends.

    Thanks

Over the last two weeks it has been a back and forth conversation with Godaddy. They are very aware of the current situation and you should be taken seriously. Good luck Pam712 and thank you.

I have reveived at least two spams every day for months now from GamblingWhales, yesterdays had $15 Free from Sci-Fi Casino.

    I forwarded it to Go-Daddy, and Abuse(at)ev1servers.net

Someone needs to disable the link to gamblingwhale in the previous post.

I just looked at the gamblingwhale website. The title tag says Blackjack Ballroom Casino. Every link on the site goes to BJ Ballroom with affiliate # 19591. And they can't track this affiliate down?

Also there is a button at the bottom of the page that says "Casino Rewards Network Member". This button links to Casino Rewards with no referral tag.

    Hi all

This account has been closed weeks ago at our program. Not sure why he still has the page up - he isn't making any money with it from us.

I would suggest contacting the affiliate programs of the casinos you are still receiving spam from. Unfortunately I can't help with spam he is sending from other programs.

    Cheers
