Genting offering offline option for online deposits

Genting Poker has launched a "Cash-In-Cash-Out" facility, where players in the U.K. can deposit or withdraw cash from their online poker accounts through one of the Group's land-based casinos.

Genting is the biggest poker room operator in the U.K. with 25 rooms amongst its 46 casinos.

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Genting Poker has today launched their 'Cash-In-Cash-Out' facility, whereby poker players in the UK can deposit or withdraw cash from their online poker accounts through one of the Groups casinos.

Genting is the biggest operator of poker rooms in the UK, with 25 dedicated rooms amongst its 46 casinos. Now, through that network, poker players can both deposit cash to their online poker account or withdraw cash winnings from it.

Players simply pay cash in at the casino cash desk, and it is transferred instantly into the their Genting Poker account. Similarly, a player can request a withdrawal whilst online, travel to their local club and collect their winnings in cold hard cash. It is arguably the fastest way to deposit / withdraw cash and play poker – bar none.

Being rolled out now across the Genting Casino estate, the scheme is already underway at more than a dozen locations and players can receive a free £10 bonus when they try Cash-In Cash-Out for the very first time. A £10 Bonus on deposits of £5 or more, is manually added to the players account within 24 hours.

Peter Nolan, Managing Director at Genting Alderney explained, "CICO, is just the latest way that Genting is helping recreational poker players. We have the largest land-based estate of any UK casino operator and this service, whereby our players can manage their accounts across both land and online platforms, is yet another example of how we maximise our service levels to our customers."

To use the facility, players need to be a member of a Genting Casino at any of the Circus, Mint, Maxims and Palm Beach locations and have play online with an account at either Genting Poker or Circus Casino & Poker.

Seems like a really nice way to potentially bring on more rookie players, which I guess indirectly attracts more sharks.

That's a very good idea. And yeah, I bet it would really bring a lot of players thinking they wouldn't have to go through difficulties on claiming their winnings.
